A simple, sensitive, accurate and low cost effective spectrophotometric method has been developed for the determination of Tetracycline and Doxycycline in pure and pharmaceutical formulations. The method is based on the reaction of methyldopa with 4-aminoantipyren (4-AAP) in presence of potassium ferriecyanide (PFC) in an alkaline medium. Two optimization methods were applied to determine the optimum conditions of oxidizing coupling reaction variables; univariate and design of experiment (DOE) method. The conditions effecting the reaction; pH, buffer Volume, reagent concentration, oxidant concentration, type of buffer, order of addition, time of reaction and stability were optimized . Under univariate and design of experiment (DOE) method; the Tetracycline colored product having (λmax) at 531nm 535nm. Beer’s law was obeyed in concentration range of [two scale (1-18 µg.mL-1) and (15-70µg.mL-1)] with correlation coefficient of 0.9997 and 0.9942 respectively and for second method [two scale (1-30 µg.mL-1) and (40-100µg.mL-1)] with correlation coefficient of 1 and 0.9913. The assay limits of detection quantification were 0.1732, 0.3123µg.mL-1 respectively. Under univariate the Doxycycline colored product having (λmax) at 515nm. Beer’s law was obeyed in concentration range (10-90 µg.mL-1) with correlation coefficient of 0.9995. The assay limits of detection quantification were 1.0724µg.mL-1. The method was successfully applied to the analysis of the drug tablets formulation.
The aim of this study to determine the genetic distance and relationship among some Iraqi date palm cultivars by using the Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA (RAPD) technique. Molecular analysis was performed by using 10 random primers. These primers produced 176 fragment lines across 14 cultivars, Of these, 166 or 94.3% were polymorphic. The size of the amplified bands ranged between 200-2250 bp. The genetic polymorphism value of each primer was determined and ranged between 7.5-16.9%. In terms of unique banding patterns, the most characteristic banding pattern was for the Barhee cultivar with primer OP-M06 and for the Khadhrawy Mandily cultivar with primer OP-C02. Fourty three isolates ( 20.7%) characterized as Staphylococcus aureus , were isolated from 207 different clinical sources (blood , nose, , wound , urine , vaginal, ear and eye) in different percentages (30.23, 18.60, 16.28, 13.95, 15.15, 6.96 and 2.33 %), respectively. This paper presents a point multiplication processor over the binary field GF (2233) with internal registers integrated within the point-addition architecture to enhance the Performance Index (PI) of scalar multiplication. The proposed design uses one of two types of finite field multipliers, either the Montgomery multiplier or the interleaved multiplier supported by the additional layer of internal registers. Lopez Dahab coordinates are used for the computation of point multiplication on Koblitz Curve (K-233bit). In contrast, the metric used for comparison of the implementations of the design on different types of FPGA platforms is the Performance Index.
