Brain Tumor Detection Method Using Unsupervised Classification Technique

Magnetic  Resonance  Imaging  (MRI)  is  one  of  the  most important diagnostic tool. There are many methods to segment the

tumor of human brain. One of these, the conventional method that uses pure image processing techniques that are not preferred because they need human interaction for accurate segmentation. But unsupervised methods do not require any human interference and can segment   the   brain   with   high   precision.   In   this   project,   the unsupervised  classification methods have been used in order to detect the tumor  disease from MRI images.    These methods involved K­ mean or Isodat, which were based on the digital value distribution. The results show the classification process was a powerful tool to identify the Tumor disease from MRI images.   All results were evaluated  by  using the ENVI Version 3.2 facility.

Studying HLA class I polymorphism in brain tumour patients

The present study aimed at shed light on the association between HLA-class I antigens (A, B and Cw) and brain tumours (meningioma and glioma) in the basis of their individual frequencies or two-locus association A total of 52 brain tumour patients were enrolled in this study, with an age range of 7-68 years. The patients were divided into two clinical groups; meningioma (20 cases) and glioma (22 cases), while the remaining 10 cases represented other types of brain tumour. Control samples included 47 Iraqi Arab apparently healthy blood volunteers, with an age range of 15-50 year. Present investigation aimed to study plasma BNP hormone estimation as predictor of brain stroke and neurocognitive in relative with other limitations in CKD patient. The case control experimental study was conducted on CKD patient at Yarmuk Hospital at Baghdad Province, Iraq from February to April 2020. Adaptive Canny Algorithm Using Fast Otsu Multithresholding Method

   In this research, an adaptive Canny algorithm using fast Otsu multithresholding method is presented, in which fast Otsu multithresholding method is used to calculate the optimum maximum and minimum hysteresis values and used as automatic thresholding for the fourth stage of the Canny algorithm.      The new adaptive Canny algorithm and the standard Canny algorithm (manual hysteresis value) was tested on standard image (Lena) and satellite image. The results approved the validity and accuracy of the new algorithm to find the images edges for personal and satellite images as pre-step for image segmentation.
