New thermally stable aromatic poly(amide-imide)s ( PAI1- PAI4 ) were synthesized from direct polycondensation reaction of Terephthalic acid and Phthalic acid with two new different diamine monomers derivatives of 1,2,4,5-tetracarboxilic benzene dianhydride as a second diacides in a medium consisting of triphenyl phosphite (TPP) in N-methyl-2pyrrolidone (NMP) / pyridine solution containing dissolved calcium chloride CaCl2. The polymerization reaction produced a series of novel poly(amide-imide) in high yield. The new monomers were characterized by FTIR, 1H-NMR spectroscopy. In this paper we introduce and study the concept w-closed submodules, that is stronger form of the concept of closed submodules, where asubmodule K of a module M is called w-closed in M, "if it has no proper weak essential extension in M", that is if there exists a submodule L of M with K is weak essential submodule of L then K=L. Some basic properties, examples of w-closed submodules are investigated, and some relationships between w-closed submodules and other related modules are studied. Furthermore, modules with chain condition on w-closed submodules are studied.

The influence of an aortic aneurysm on blood flow waveforms is well established, but how to exploit this link for diagnostic purposes still remains challenging. This work uses a combination of experimental and computational modelling to study how aneurysms of various size affect the waveforms. Experimental studies are carried out on fusiform-type aneurysm models, and a comparison of results with those from a one-dimensional fluid–structure interaction model shows close agreement. Further mathematical analysis of these results allows the definition of several indicators that characterize the impact of an aneurysm on waveforms.
