Etoricoxib (EXB) is a highly selective cox-2 inhibitor which belongs to the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). EXB is a class II drug according to the biopharmaceutical classification system (BCS), which possess a very low aqueous solubility in water.  In the present study, many trials were made to improve the aqueous solubility and dissolution rate of EXB by solid dispersion technique.

Eighteenth EXB formulas were formulated as a solid dispersion using a variety of hydrophilic polymers (as carriers)   including poloxamer 407 (PXM 407), poloxamer 188 (PXM 188) and polyethylene glycol 4000 (PEG 4000) at different drug: polymer ratios (1:1, 1:3 and 1:5).    Effect of zinc chloride on the immune  functions was studied in male albino mice aged 6-7 weeks. It was administrated orally (1ml) in three concentrations (0.5ppm, 1ppm, 2ppm) for 9 days.         The results showed that the first concentration was not effective comparing with control while the second concentration increased the enhancement of immune system and the cell third one killed the mice 6 hours post administration, so we can conclude that the high dose of ZnCl2 could be harmful for all metabolism.

The immersion effect by sodium hydroxide solution (NaOH) at normality (0.3N) for a period of (15 days) on the thermal conductivity of nanocomposites was studied, and compared to natural condition (before immersion).
