Objective : Sciatic nerve block (popliteal approach) and femoral N block is a new technique other than general anesthesia in below knee surgery because it provides adequate muscle relaxation, with good intraoperative and post-operative analgesia. Nefopam is non opioid, non-respiratory depressant and non-sedative was mixed with local anesthetics drug to study the effects. This study was done to compare the onset and duration of sensory and onset time and duration of action of motor block following administration of either bupivacaine alone with administration of bupivacaine and Nefopam in patients undergoing below knee lower limb surgeries under ultrasound guided regional anesthesia.

 In this study, Mn-Ni Ferrite was prepared by using two composites of manganese ferrite ( MnFe2o4 )  and Nicle Ferrite ( NiFe2O4) tested by X-Ray diffraction (XRD) method. The dielectric constant (𝜀̅) and the dielectric loss tangent (𝑡𝑎𝑛 𝛿) were studied for the ferrite system prepared at different frequencies (100, 200… and 5000 kHz). It was found that the values of (𝜀̅) and (𝑡𝑎𝑛 𝛿) decrease with the  increase of frequencies.

Compound (C3) from the reaction with different aromatic aldehydes in absolute ethanol gave the Schiff′s bases (C4,C5). To investigate and assess the effects of land use and land cover (LULC) on concentrations of heavy metals in the surface soils of Lesser Zab River Basin (LZRB), 25 surface soil samples were taken from different LULC classes. Heavy metals concentrations were measured and their enrichment factors were calculated. Most of the LZRB soil samples are moderately alkaline with pH>8 and characterized by low organic content.
