Plant Phenology And Itsrelation TO The Cool Semi-Arid Conditions OF Sana'a
...Show More Authors

In the cool semi-arid highland areas of Sana'a, a plant
phonological study of forty two species revealed that there was one
major outburst of plant emergence corresponding with the first period
of the heavy rainfall which take place during March-April. The second
period of heavy rainfall which takes place during July-August shows
moderate effect on emergence and growth.
Plant Species included annuals, biennials and perennials. Perennials
showed
the
following
growth
forms
hemicryptophytes,
chamaephytes, phanerophytes, and cryptophytes. Most plants where
herbaceous and a few where woody
Different Individuals of the same species could behave as annuals,
biennials or perennials. In areas where soil moisture lasted for a short
period, plants behaved annuals, and in areas where moisture lasted for
longer periods, the plants behaved as biennials or perennials. The
prolonged period of leafing, flowering and fruiting experience by most
species also was caused by the moderate temperature which prevailed
during the year
Leafing, flowering and fruiting periods varied among species.
However, they prevailed from March to November. Growth of most

Question Asking Skills: Levels, Conditions, Classification, and Types
...Show More Authors

The research aims to know the question asking skills in terms of levels, conditions, classification, and types. The research limited to the literature that dealt with the importance of questioning for students and teachers. The most important term used in the research is the skill (Ryan defined it as "the ability to perform with great efficiency, accuracy, and ease). The results of the research are as follows: 1. the questions asked by the schoolteacher within the assessment of students' learning. 2. Teachers should focus on the lower levels of learning (remembering, understanding and comprehension) and then evaluating students at the higher levels (synthesis and evaluation). 3. Teacher with good knowledge can skillfully use the question

Study the Activity of some plant resources as natural antioxidant: Study the Activity of some plant resources as natural antioxidant
...Show More Authors

This study was done to test the activity of some plant extracts as antioxidant agents. The plants were (Morus rubra, Hibiscus sabdariffa L ., Rhus coriaria L., Anethum graveolens and Petroselinum sativum).
Ethanolic 98% (24 hours/ 25˚c) and distilled water (30 minutes/ 25˚c have been used for extraction. The Total phenols, total flavonoids, total anthocyanin, antioxidant activities were studied.
The extract of Morus rubra was chosen because it has a higher antioxidant activity.
The phenolic extract of Morus rubra was prepare and examined by application it in burger . The antioxidant activity test of Morus rubra was made before and after 3,6 days of cold storage. The sensory evaluation of all treatments were done within 5,1

Using GPR Technique Assessment for Study the Sub-Grade of Asphalt and Concrete Conditions
...Show More Authors

The Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) is frequently used in pavement engineering
for road pavement inspection. The main objective of this work is to validate
nondestructive, quick and powerful measurements using GPR for assessment of subgrade
and asphalt /concrete conditions. In the present study, two different antennas
(250, 500 MHz) were used. The case studies are presented was carried in University
of Baghdad over about 100m of paved road. After data acquisition and radar grams
collection, they have been processed using RadExplorer V1.4 software
implementing different filters with the most effective ones (time zero adjustment and
DC removal) in addition to other interpretation tool parameters.

Some games via semi-generalized regular spaces
...Show More Authors

In this research, a new application has been developed for games by using the generalization of the separation axioms in topology, in particular regular, Sg-regular and SSg- regular spaces. The games under study consist of two players and the victory of the second player depends on the strategy and choice of the first player. Many regularity, Sg, SSg regularity theorems have been proven using this type of game, and many results and illustrative examples have been presented

Calculate the Thermal Properties of (S2F2) Using Semi-empirical Quantum Mechanics (MNDO / PM3)
...Show More Authors

In this paper, thermal properties were performed by using semi-empirical theoretical calculations to study the molecular structure of a nonlinear molecular system, the (S2F2) molecule in the infrared region, by using semi-empirical quantum programs in the (MNDO / PM3) method. This study is under the condition of obtaining the stable structure of the molecule in which the molecule obtains the minimum value of the total energy. The thermodynamic properties were also calculated, including the heat of formation, whose value was (-61.002kcal / mol),  the entropy and its value (78.2916 cal / mol.k), as well as the heat capacity  (15.9454 cal / mol.k) and the enthalpy (3763.434 cal /mol),  Gibbs F

Studying the Effect of Initial Conditions and System Parameters on the Behavior of a Chaotic Duffing System
...Show More Authors

This work presents a five-period chaotic system called the Duffing system, in which the effect of changing the initial conditions and system parameters d, g and w, on the behavior of the chaotic system, is studied. This work provides a complete analysis of system properties such as time series, attractors, and Fast Fourier Transformation Spectrum (FFT). The system shows periodic behavior when the initial conditions xi and yi equal 0.8 and 0, respectively, then the system becomes quasi-chaotic when the initial conditions xi and yi equal 0 and 0, and when the system parameters d, g and w equal 0.02, 8 and 0.09. Finally, the system exhibits hyperchaotic behavior at the first two conditions, 0 and 0, and the bandwidth of the chaotic

Results showed that the optimum conditions for production of inulunase from isolate Kluyveromyces marxianus AY2 by submerged culture could be achieved by using inulin as carbon source at a concentration of 2% with mixture of yeast extract and ammonium sulphate in a ratio of 1:1 in a concentration of 1% at initial pH 5.5 after incubation for 42 hours at 30ºC.

Host plant resistance, chili pepper to whitefly, Bemisia tabaci (gennadius) (Hemiptera: Aleyrodidae) in field
...Show More Authors

A field study was conducted in Al-Khalis district, Diyala Governorate in 2019 to test the sensitivity of three varieties of pepper to the population density of the whitefly B. tabaci, Anaheim pepper, Aleppo and local variety, and the results showed that the Anaheim variety was the most infested with the whitefly density 4.08 whitefly/ leaf and then the local variety 2.7 whitefly/ leaf. The lowest population density was 1.25 whitefly/ leaf of Aleppo variety. Variety Aleppo also recorded the lowest percentage of whitefly infection B. tabaci of 39.22%, but not have significant differences in the percentage of whitefly infestation, as it reached 53.64% and 54.85% for the Anaheim and local varieties, respectively. The resistance of variety Alepp
