Ceramic body as a refractory was prepared by using shamoot, which is prepared by firing kaolin Duekhla at 1450 ºC at 2hr ,Flint clay ,Asbestos fiber(Anthophylite type)and Sodium silicts,Phosphoric acid solution as a binder . After miling, siving ,and mixing ,samples were formed, followed that drying, firing at different temperature. Phyical ,thermal and mechanical properties were measured .The conclusion behind the results that the refractory prepared from; 37.5% shamoote,25% Asbestos ,37.5% Flint clay and Phosforic acid solution fired at 1300 ºC gave a refractory material having melting temperature ;1490 ºC, thermal shock resistance 7 cycle, thermal conductivity 2.1w/m2.K, apperant porosity 22.69% ,apperant density 2.87gm/Cm 3 ,Linear shrinkage 3.5%, compressive strength 30.43 MPa and Impact strength 81.3J/Cm2 .

In the values of mechanical properties (hardness, compressive strength), the shock resistance values decreased, but an increase in temperature leads to an increase in the values of shock resistance, as well as the values of compressive strength And it reduces the hardness value.
This study was done to find a cheap, available and ecofriendly materials that can remove eosin y dye from aqueous solutions by adsorption in this study, two adsorbent materials were used, the shells of fresh water clam (Cabicula fluminea) and walnut shells. To make a comparison between the two adsorbents, five experiments were conducted. First, the effects of the contact time, here the nut shell removed the dye quickly, while the C. flumina need more contact time to remove the dye. Isolate C4 was revealed high growth density in comparison with other isolates. Enzyme content of crude extract was concentrated by gradual addition of ammonium sulfate at 30-60% saturation. The dialyzed extract was purified on ion-exchange chromatography through DEAE–Cellulose and gel-filtration chromatography through sephacryl S-200 column. The specific activity, enzyme yield and fold purification were 54.06 unit/mg, 42.6% and 10.88 respectively. The molecular weight of the Lipase was 43.651 KDa as determined by gel-filtration chromatography through sephacryl S-200 column. Partial purified lipase used for the improvement of the flavor of butter fat after 12 hours for storage.
