An experiment was carried out by using pots in kalar horticulture station/ Sulaimani province on soil which is talken form on once region field in the seasoning growth(20062007). The objective was to study interaction of different levels from urea fertilizer (zero, 0.20, 0.40, 0.80 gm / 4 kg soil in pot). These levels were equal to (zero, 25, 50, 100, kg uera / D) and super phosphate levels (zero, 0.24, 0.48, gm / 4 kg soil in pot).These levels were equal to(zero, 30, 60, kg / D) in morphological and physiological characteristies (ex. dry weight, leaf area, absolute growth rate, protein percentage, and chlorophyll content) of Ipa (95) wheat variety. This experiment was carried out by completely Randomized Design (C. R. D.). Results indicated a clear increase in all the studied characteristics with the increase of urea and super phosphate levels added to the pots. The levels (100 kg urea / D and 60 kg super phosphate / D) were best in giving high values of these characteristics comparative with other levels from these fertilizers.

Examining of passeriform birds collected in Baghdad area revealed presence of seven species of blood parasites belonging to three genera, Haemoproteus, Leucocytozoon, and Plasmodium. Records of microfilariae (larval nematodes) were also indicated. Results showed wide distribution of Plasmodium relictum among passerine hosts.

Acidity constants at 30co and 0.125 ionic strength have been determined for the Nitrogous bases of nucleic acid; cytocine, uarcil and thymine, and found to be 3.55 x10-19 , 1.44 x10 -19 and 7.24 x10 -20 respectively. Stability constants of these bases with Thorium and uranyl ions have been determined. Results showed that metal ions Thorium and uranyl ions behave as hard acids and the nitrogenum bases behave as Hard bases according to Pearson's definition .Hardness – softness parameters for these ligands were calculated ,stability constants of complexes with metal ions could be arranged as follows :- Cytosine > Uracil > Thymine .
Serum levels of iron,copper,ceruloplasmin and transferrine were estimated in three groups of patients with ?- thalassemia: 24 patients have splenectomy thalassemia major, 29 patients have non splenectomy thalassemia major and 19 patients have thalassemia intermedia , data were compared to normal and pathological controls (anemia and minor). There were significant increase in trace element levels in all studied groups of pateints as compared to normal and pathological controls. Also there were a significant increase in ceruloplasmin levels,While the result revealed that there were a significant decrease in transferrine levels in all groups of patients studied as compared to normal and pathological controls. This research aims to improve the radiation shielding properties of polymer-based materials by mixing PVC with locally available building materials. Specifically, two key parameters of fast neutron attenuation (removal cross-section and half-value layer) were studied for composite materials comprising PVC reinforced with common building materials (cement, sand, gypsum and marble) in different proportions (10%, 30% and 50% by weight).
