The study was conducted to vaccinate chickens against coccidiosis using alive vaccine contain seven species of chicken Eimeria, E. tenella, E. brunetti, E. necatrix, E. maxima, E. mevati, E. acervulina and E. praecox. A total of 120 chicks were divided into two main groups: broiler group and egg laying group. The birds of each group were allocated on to three pins, each contains 20 chicks. The birds of the experiment were vaccinated at day nine of age, with a suspension of mixed Eimeria which contain 50 Oocysts of E. tenella with a different percent of other species, respectively. The vaccine was given to chicks in the 1st pins of each group with drinking water, the chicks in the 2nd pins were given vaccine by crop inoculation, while the chicks in the 3rd pins were left with no vaccine as a control group. All groups were challenged at day 25 of age with 50000 sporulated Oocysts of live E. tenella with the same percentage of other species found in the suspension prepared, by crop inoculation. Clinical signs were observed, with the following parameters which were calculated; the mortality, Body weight gain, Oocysts count and protection rate. The results pointed out that the vaccinated chicks developed a resistance against Eimeria species present in the vaccine; by reducing clinical signs, mortality rate, and Oocysts count, with high protection rate especially among broilers, while weight gain was not affected especially among those vaccinated with drinking water. It was concluded that the prepared vaccine which was given to the chicks, at nine days of age decreases the severity of the disease, to avoid using high number of Oocysts in the vaccine
Detection of pathogenic bacteria, such as Listeria monocytogenes, in food is crucial for safeguarding public health in Iraq. Forty five samples of frozen meat (15 samples of each of minced red meat, chicken, and fish) were collected from different markets in Baghdad city. Molecular (RT-PCR) and culturing (conventional microbiological examination) methods were used to determine the level of contamination of L. monocytogenes in these types of meat.

This work has been done with using of epoxy resin mixed with Granite powder were weighted by percent volume (5,10,15, and 20)%and then mixed with epoxy polymer to compose polymer composite. Hand lay-up technique is used in fabrication of the composite samples. Hardness test was carried out for the proper samples in both normal condition and after immersion in HCL (1 M and 2 M) solutions for periods ranging up to 10 weeks. After comparing the results between the polymer and their composite, the hardness increased with increasing Granite weight percent, it was found that Hardness were greater for the composites before immersion compared with their values after immersion.

This paper investigates the modal analysis of vibration of Euler-Bernoulli beam subjected to concentrated load. The governing partial differential equation was analysed to determine the behaviour of the system under consideration. The series solution and numerical methods were used to solve the governing partial differential equation. The results revealed that the amplitude increases as the length of the beam increases. It was also found that the response amplitude increases as the foundation increases at fixed length of the beam.

Benthic invertebrates diversity on the Al-Dalmage the Lake in the middle of Iraq, in addition to the some chemical properties was the aim of the present study, for a period from January to the December 2013. Six stations of the lake were chosen for monthly samples collection. The result revealed that the water temperature ranged from (9-34) ◦C. According to the values of salinity (1.5-14.6) ‰ the lake was classified as Brackish, while the pH values were neutral tends to near alkaline and ranged from (7.2- 9). The study showed that the lake were well oxygenated due to the dissolved oxygen values which ranged from 7-12 mg/l. The lake considered as very hard according to the total hardness values which range from (825-6980) CaCo3 mg/l.
