Biological study was conducted in the botanical garden of the College of Education / Ibn Al-Haitham during the growing season 2006-2007 to determine the impact different date planting and variety in some morphological characteristics of the wheat plant Triticum astivum L. Two varieties of Triticum aestivum L.: IPA99 and Abu-Ghraib , were cultivated in 4th , 25th of November and 9th of December . The experiment was designed according to RCD in two replicates. The results showed that cultivation of 4th November, gave rise to plants of high 74.66 cm, with the highest number of tillers which was 4.01 and the highest length of spike was 12.03 cm, while the plants planted on 9th December gave the lowest high of plant 55.40 cm, the smallest number of total tillers 2.47 and shortest of spike 8.82 cm. On the other hand the data showed that superiority of plant high of IPA99 on Abo-Graib item which reach 67.82 cm , while Abo-Graib item gave more tillers (3.40 cm) than IPA99 .

The aim of the current study is to demonstrate the effect of honey on the sperms characteristics (sperm concentration, sperm motility, grade of activity and sperm normal morphology) as well as pregnancy rate in mice. Sperms were obtained from caudal epididymis of male mice and prepared by adding10% of honey to the IVF medium using direct sperms activation technique for 30 minute incubation period before artificial insemination.

This study is conducted to determine the activity of plant Vica faba and two isolated from arbuscular mycorrhizae fungi (A,B) in bioremediation of soil pollution by Nickel and Lead elements in north and south of Baghdad city. The results showed that the average of soil pollution by Nickel and Lead elements in north of Baghdad was less than the average of soil pollution in the south of Baghdad which recorded 29.0,9.0PPm and 42.0, 25.0PPm respectively. The results show that the isolate A from the polluted soil is more active from isolate B which isolate from unpolluted soil for bioremediation. Therefore, the aims of this study was to determine the antibacterial and antibiofilm effect of Rosmarinus officinelis L. essential oil (EO) and its effect on the genes encoding of fimbrial adhesions. The antimicrobial activity was investigated by MIC. The ability to form biofilm as well as inhibition of initial cell attachment and biofilm formation was performed.
