The experimentes were carried out by using a nutrient solution in the green house of Biology Dept , college of Education (Ibn Al- Haitham , University of Baghdad .) during 2001 -2002 growing season in order to determine the effect of sodium ion, by using four concentrations: (zero , 40,80,120. Mm), to study the appearance and physiological characteristics for two wheat varieties : IP A99 and Al-Kaid according to factorial experiment in completely randomized design for each concentration. The rcsults showed that the fourth concentration (120 Mm) for the Na ion is the most effective one on Leaf area, chlorophyll content, soluble carbohydrates, nitrogen content and protein percentage. Moreover the result suggested that the variety (IPA99) showed a good durability toward the increase in the concentration of Na ion
The electrical properties of the AlNiCo thin films with thickness (1000oA) deposited on glass substrates using Ion – Beam sputtering (IBS) technique under vacuum <10-6 torr have been studied . Also it studied the effect of annealing temperature from this films , It is found that the effective energy decrease with increase of temperature and the conductivity decrease with increase temperature 323oK but after this degree the conductivity increasing .

Transference numbers of the aqueous zinc chloride and zinc sulphate solutions have been measured for the concentrations 0.03, 0.05, 0.07, 0.09 and 0.1 mol.dm-3at 298.15K, by using the modified Hittorf method. The dependence of transference number on concentration of each electrolyte was also investigated in an attempt to explain the value of the limiting transference number. In this study, we conducted a series of polymerization studies of hexyl methacrylate in dimethyl sulfoxide with (0.1 - 0.4) mol dm-3 of monomer and (1 10-3 – 4 10-3) mol dm-3 of benzoyl peroxide as initiators at 70 °C. Using the well-known conversion vs. time technique, the effects of initiator and monomer concentration on the rate of polymerization (Rp) were studied. This study aimed to identify the changes in total protein in saliva and sera samples of patients with oral squamous cell carcinoma in comparison to those of healthy controls. These changes were followed using electrophoresis (PAGE). Meanwhile, determinations of albumin, globulin and albumin to globulin ratio were carried out on sera samples only.Two groups were the participants in the present study, 18 patients with Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma (OSCC), and 20 ages and gender matched healthy controls.
