In this study, gamma ray transmission method have been used to determine the total porosity in four samples: pure Alumina  ( Al₂O₃   ),  Al₂O₃ + (0.2wt%)MgO ,  Al₂O₃ + (0.6wt% )Y₂O₃  and Al₂O₃+ (8wt% ) ZrO₂ .

      The experimental setup for the gamma ray transmission consist of ¹³⁷Cs gamma source ( 662 KeV  ), a  NaI (Tl) scintillation detector measured the attenuation of strongly collimated  gamma beam through alumina samples.

In the present study twenty samples of human urine were taken
from healthy male and female with different of: ages, occupation and
place of residence. These samples were collected from the hospital to
measure the concentration of radon gas in human urine by using one
of solid state nuclear track detectors LR-115.
The results obtained of the concentrations of radon in healthy human
urine are varying from 2.12×10-3 Bq.l-1 to 4.42×10-3 Bq.l-1 and
these values are less than the allowed limits 12.3×10-3 Bq.l-1.

A specific, sensitive and simple method was used for the determination of: vitamin B9 (Folic acid) in pure and pharmaceutical formulations using continuous flow injection analysis. Thirty swabes of medical implants were collected from Al-Yarmouk's hospital which were cultured on manitole agar to isolate Staphelococcus aureus . Only four samples gave positive results with this media. It was used ten types of antibiotics to test the sensitivity of this bacterium against them.
