In this research, 152 clinical samples were collected from different hospitals in
Baghdad city, 30 isolates of Proteus spp. were identified from urine, wounds and
burns by using different bacteriological and biochemical assays. It was found that 20
(66.6%) samples were identifies as Proteus mirabilis and 10 (33.3%) samples were
Proteus vulgaris. Among the 30 isolates of Proteus spp., 18 isolates (60%) were
isolated from urine samples; 7 (23.3%) isolates from wounds samples and 5 (16.6%)
isolates from burns samples. Out of 20 isolates of P. mirabilis, 13 (65%) isolates
were from urine samples, 4 (20%) isolates were isolated from wounds samples and 3

A field experiment was carried out to find out the effect of some herbicides(Pallas, Crash, U46) on the companion weed to three cultivars of the oat crop (Shefa, Hamel, and Pimula) and the yield and its components of these cultivars. The results showed the superiority of the two treatments of spraying weed herbicides (T1 and T2 ) by giving the best results, as they recorded the lowest number of weed plants after 30 days of spraying reached 1.44 and 1.67 plant/m2 . Besides, the lowest weed dry weight was 0.11 and 0.00 g/m2, and the highest inhibition percentage in dry weight was 98.44% and 100.0% of the two treatments, respectively. Wind energy is becoming one of the renewable energy that has attracted great attention all over the world. This research work aims to build a map by which the user can have a thought about the number of generation hours of electricity from wind through all the year at the location of study (Wasit-Iraq). To interact the idea, this study included using the work included using different wind turbines at different heights. The present study, based mainly on my collection, deals with five species, of which one is new to science. The new species is described together with notes on locality data, host records, distribution and taxonomical remarks for all the species.

The aim of the present work, was measuring of uranium concentrations in 25 soil samples from five locations of Al-Kut city. The samples taken from different depths ranged from soil surface to 60cm step 15 cm, for this measurement of uranium concentrations .The most widely used technique SSNTDs was chosen to be the measurement technique. Results showed that the higher concentrations were in Hai Al- Kafaat which recorded 1.49 ± 0.054 ppm . The uranium content in soil samples were less than permissible limit of UNSCEAR(11.7ppm).
