The aim of this study was intended to study the effect of rifadin drug on lipids metabolism in the blood of the rabbits .Eight rabbits were used in the experiment ,they were divided into two groups ,first group(control group ) was administrated with 15mg/ml /day normal saline for 35 days ,while the second group (treated group )was administrated with (15/mg /kg/day) for 35 days of rifadin( capsule 300mg/kg).This study examined the influences of rifadin drug on the concentration of cholesterol , triglycerides , HDL ,LDL and VLDL in rabbits sera .The result showed that there were no significant increased (p>0.05) in cholesterol concentration in rifadin treated group compared with control group ,and there were no significant increase (p>0.05)in LDL and HDL concentration in rifadin treated group compared with control group ,where the result showed that there was a significant decrease (p<0.05)in triglycerides and VLDL concentration in rifadin treated group compared with control group . It was concluded that the rifadin drug has a negative effect produced dysfunction on lipids metabolism in blood.

The present investigation was conducted to evaluate the effect of the crude extracts mixture of three plants (Tribulus terrestris, Phoenix dactylifera and Nasturtium officinale) on semen quality,sex hormones and reproductive performance of mature male mice. A group of 25 male mice given 150mg/kg/day of the powder of the plants mixture with the food for four weeks and another three groups of 25 animals each given intraperitoneal injection from each of the aqueous and ethanolic extracts with a doses 75, 150, and 300mg/kg/day for two weeks. Iron , Cobalt , and Nickel powders with different particle sizes were subjected to sieving and He-Ne laser system to determine the particle size . 1wt% from each powders was blended carefully with 99wt% from Iraqi oil . Microscopic examination were carried for all samples to reveal the particle size distribution . The result showed that hot water and ethanol extracts of Nigella sativa contain alkaloids ,saponins, flavonoids,tannins,glycosides,terpins and steroids. Albino mice were administered orally with 0.1 of the extract at dose of 100 mg/kg, body weight the results showed high level of white blood cell ,total and differential count of WBC,phagocytosis index, mitotic index, Arthus and delayed type hypersensitivity. The result, also showed high level of hemoglobin (Hb) and the packed cell volume (PCV) the alcoholic extract has been found more efficient than hot water extract on mice.
