This research was conducted to measure the safety of heat stable enterotoxin a (STa) produced by enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli, through studying its toxic effect on mice since it showed a promising effect in reducing the proliferation of colorectal cancer cells. The cytogenetic effect was determined after giving five different doses (100, 200, 400, 800 and 1600)μg/Kg in comparison with negative (phosphate buffer saline / PBS) and positive (mitomycin C/ MMC, at doses of 2 and 5μg/Kg) controls on mouse bone marrow cells by employing the following parameters: mitotic index, chromosomal aberrations and micronucleus, also, the serum level of liver functional enzymes (GOT, GPT, ALP) was recorded. In addition, lethal dose 50 (LD 50) with certain clinicopathological changes in five organs (colon, kidney, liver, stomach and lung) was also determined after oral administration of STa for ten successive days and at two doses (500 and 1000) μg/Kg. Results showed that, none of the five different doses of STa caused any significant changes in the three examined cytogenetic parameters in the mouse bone marrow cells; precisely, neither the low dose nor the high one of STa caused reduction or induction in these parameters. In fact, clear effect in decreasing mitotic activity and increasing spontaneous frequencies of both chromosomal aberrations and micronucleus was revealed after MMC treatment. Furthermore, significant differences in mouse serum level of the three enzymes were not seen at any doses of STa, while significant reduction in the levels of these enzymes was noticed after treatment with the two doses of MMC. In this study the LD 50 test was used to investigate the lethal effect of the partially purified STa, and it was shown to be not lethal to mice at both doses of (500 and 1000) μg/Kg, since death was not recorded, moreover, no clinicopathological effects were indicated in the all examined mouse tissues, however the only noticed clinical sign was diarrhea with all doses, which was observed after three days of STa treatment.
The pathogenicity of S. saprophyticus was studied in mice. A group of white mice were injected transurethrally using a catheter with S. saprophyticus S67 cell suspension in a concentration reached 109 CFU/ml. concomitantly, the role of its peptidoglycan in the pathogenicity was studied by injecting another group of mice with 0.3 mg/0.2 ml of partially purified S. saprophyticus S67 peptidoglycan extract. After autopsy, kidneys and urinary bladder showed several histopathological changes both in cells and peptidoglycan injected mice, included: hydropic degeneration, glomerulus shrinkage, congestion of renal vessels, infiltration of inflammatory cells, and dekeratinization in urinary bladder.
New types of modules named Fully Small Dual Stable Modules and Principally Small Dual Stable are studied and investigated. Both concepts are generalizations of Fully Dual Stable Modules and Principally Dual Stable Modules respectively. Our new concepts coincide when the module is Small Quasi-Projective, and by considering other kind of conditions. Characterizations and relations of these concepts and the concept of Small Duo Modules are investigated, where every fully small dual stable R-module M is small duo and the same for principally small dual stable.

An optoelectronic system for fog detection and visibility technique is presented .The idea of this research is based on the measurement of the atmospheric visibility by using an infrared beam emitter from LED diode. The optical scattering is used as a method to calculate the visibility. This method is applied at forward scattering within a foggy atmosphere, which is modern and has great importance for measuring visibility in seaports, airports, public roads and highways. In this paper we focus on the description of the system, principles of its operation and some results of field tests.

A low-cost reverse flow plasma system powered by argon gas pumping was built using homemade materials in this paper. The length of the resulting arc change was directly proportional to the flow rate, while using the thermal camera to examine the thermal intensity distribution and demonstrating that it is concentrated in the centre, away from the walls at various flow rates, the resulting arc's spectra were also measured. The results show that as the gas flow rate increased, so did the ambient temperature. The results show that the medium containing the arc has a maximum temperature of 34.1 ˚C at a flow rate of 14 L/min and a minimum temperature of 22.6 ˚C at a flow rate of 6 L/min.
