In this study, stabilization of expansive soils using waste materials namely; Cement Kiln Dust (CKD), and waste plastic bottles (WPB) was experimentally investigated. Using CKD and WPB are exponentially increasing day by day, due to their capability to solve both environmental and geotechnical problems successfully. Expansive soils were collected from locations with a wide range of plasticity index (PI) (15 - 27) and liquid limit (LL) (35% - 64%). Stabilizer percentages were varied from 0% to 20%, and curing durations for CKD cases were 7 and 28 days. Results showed the best percentages of CKD and WPB are 12% of each one respectively. A field experiment was conducted in an agricultural field in Al-Hindia district, Karbala governorate in a silty clay soil during the year 2020. The research included a study of two factors, the first is the depth of plowing at two levels, namely 13 and 20 cm, which represented the main blocks. The second is the tire inflation pressure at two levels, namely (70 and 140 kPa), which represented the secondary blocks. A new method presented in this work to detect the existence of hidden

data as a secret message in images. This method must be applyied only on images which have the same visible properties (similar in perspective) where the human eyes cannot detect the difference between them.

This method is based on Image Quality Metrics (Structural Contents

Metric), which means the comparison between the original images and stego images, and determines the size ofthe hidden data. We applied the method to four different images, we detect by this method the hidden data and  find exactly the same size of the hidden data.
