Laser cleaning of materials’ surfaces implies the removal of deposited pollutants without affecting the material. Nanosecond Nd:YAG pulsed laser, operating at 1064 nm and 532nm, was utilized. Different laser intensities and number of pulses were used on metallic and non-metallic surfaces under O2 and Ar environments to remove metal oxide and crust. Cleaning efficiency was studied by optical microscope. The results indicated the superiority of 1064 nm over the 532 nm wavelength without any detectable damage to materials’ surfaces. Marble cleaned in Oxygen gas environment was better than in Ar gas.

This study was conducted in the poultry field of the Department of Animal Production/ College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences / University of Baghdad for the period from 42 days. Aiming to know the effect of using shrimp waste powder (Metapenaeus Affinis) and enzyme in broilers diet on physiological and microbial performance and indicators of fat oxidation in meat. 250 one-day-old ROSS308 chicks were used. The chicks were fed on diets containing shrimp waste treated with enzyme and not treated with protease enzyme by 0,4,6 %. In this study, we made a comparison between LASSO & SCAD methods, which are two special methods for dealing with models in partial quantile regression. (Nadaraya & Watson Kernel) was used to estimate the non-parametric part ;in addition, the rule of thumb method was used to estimate the smoothing bandwidth (h). Penalty methods proved to be efficient in estimating the regression coefficients, but the SCAD method according to the mean squared error criterion (MSE) was the best after estimating the missing data using the mean imputation method

      Faintly continuous (FC) functions, entitled faintly S-continuous and faintly δS-continuous functions have been introduced and investigated via a -open and -open sets. Several characterizations and properties of faintly S-continuous and faintly -Continuous functions were obtained. In addition, relationships between faintly s- Continuous and faintly S-continuous function and other forms of FC function were investigated. Also, it is shown that every faintly  S-continuous is weakly S-continuous. The Convers is shown to be satisfied only if the co-domain of the function is almost regular.
