The investment portfolio of financial instruments & banking relatively new in the banking sector & the world of investment &capital markets in spite of its importance & its advantages in terms of the nature of the diversity of investment instruments as well as reduce the risk of investment & its contribution to the revitalization of the banks & the financial market , economic,  &characterized by developments accelerated under information & communications technology , as is the portfolio tool vehicle of investment tools that provide for people who want to invest & they can not manage their investments directly involved in the financial markets through the investors collect their savings & management according to the strategy & specific investment objectives to achieve the advantages of an investment can not be achieved individually in light of the resources available.

Often the nature of the financial assets in the investment portfolio are determined by the objectives , especially as the multiplicity & diversity of investment portfolios in light of the components leads to diversity objectives to meet the goals or more of the objectives of investors , & aims always employ the funds in investment portfolios to achieve the greatest return.

The lowest degree of risk during the period of time specified & for him the most important goal for the management of the portfolio is the balance between return & risk as well as meet the requirements of investors as it differs Activity portfolio depending on their goals , for example, interest in achieving optimal investment of the financial resources available tools investment long , short, or to achieve the increase in income & capital or revenue only capital development in the long term & invest in high-risk activities.  In light of the increasing importance of investment portfolios as investment Head of activating the work of private banks & increase its contribution to the stock market & the need to provide the requirements of working out , attention is required to measure & analyze the reality of private banks in Baghdad to see how their ability to adopt the business philosophy portfolio investment as economic activity banker Mali, especially & private banks bear a significant part of the burden in providing the key pillars to begin to adopt a strategy of investment portfolios

Performance Evaluation of Emulsion Liquid Membrane on Chlorpyrifos Pesticide Removal: Stability, Mass Transfer Coefficient, and Extraction Efficiency Studies
...Show More Authors

Emulsion Liquid Membrane (ELM) is an emerging technology that removes contaminants from water and industrial wastewater. This study investigated the stability and extraction efficiency of ELM for the removal of Chlorpyrifos Pesticide (CP) from wastewater. The stability was studied in terms of emulsion breakage. The proposed ELM included n-hexane as a diluent, span-80 as a surfactant, and hydrochloric acid (HCl) as a stripping agent. Parameters such as mixing speed, aqueous feed solution pH, internal-to-organic membrane volume ratio, and external-to-emulsion volume ratio were investigated. A minimum emulsion breakage of 0.66% coupled with a maximum chlorpyrifos extraction and stripping efficiency were achieved at 96.1% and 95.7% at b

...Show More Authors

Coupling reaction of 4-nitroaniline with 3-aminobenzoic acid provided the corresponding bidentate azo ligand. The prepared ligand was identified by Microelemental Analysis, 1H-NMR, FT-IR, and UV-Vis spectroscopic techniques. Treatment of the prepared ligand with Y(III) and La(III) metal ions in 1:3 M:L ratio in aqueous ethanol at optimum pH yielded a series of neutral complexes with the general formula of [M(L)3]. The prepared complexes were characterized by flame atomic absorption, Elemental Analysis (C, H, N), FT-IR, and UV-Vis spectroscopic methods, as well as conductivity measurements. The nature of the complexes formed were studied following the mole ratio and continuous variation methods; Beer's law obeyed over a concentration range o

Synthesis and Structural Determination of 6-O-prop-2-ynyl-1,2:3,4-di-O-Isopropylidene-α-D-Galactose
...Show More Authors

In this work, an important sugar alkynyl ether has been synthesized in two subsequent steps starting from commercially available D-galactose (3). This kind of compounds is highly significant in the synthesis of biologically active molecules such as 1,2,3-triazole and isoxazoles. In the first step, galactose (3) was reacted with acetone in the presence of anhydrous copper (II) sulfate to produce 1,2:3,4-di-O-isopropylidene-α-D-galactose (4) in good yield. The latter was reacted with excess of 3-bromoprop-1-yne in DMF in the presence of NaOH pellets to afford the target molecule 5 in a very good yield. The temperature of this step is crucial in determining the reaction yi
