Field studies of the slopes of Bammo anticline, in Northeast of Iraq, was carried out in five selects stations, where rock slopes and the discontinuities were surveyed in these stations and its relationships with failures were determined. The field work was revealed the abundance of rock slope failures, the dominant types are rock fall and toppling.

Microalgae have been increasingly used for wastewater treatment due to their capacity to assimilate nutrients. Samples of wastewater were taken from the Erbil wastewater channel near Dhahibha village in northern Iraq. The microalga Coelastrella sp. was used in three doses (0.2, 1, and 2g. l^-1) in this experiment for 21 days, samples were periodically (every 3 days) analyzed for physicochemical parameters such as pH, EC, Phosphate, Nitrate, and BOD₅, in addition to, Chlorophyll a concentration. The present study aimed to investigate CMV and Rubella virus as a causative agent of recurrent abortion, while the IL-2 levels were estimated as immune parameter during pregnancy period. A total of 63 blood samples were collected from recurrently aborted women, control non-pregnant women and control pregnant women. The results recorded 72.09 % CMV positive aborted women and 27.91 % Rubella virus positive aborted women.
