Operations Rescheduling Strategies, Policies, and Methods: A Philosophic Approach
...Show More Authors

When scheduling rules become incapable to tackle the presence of a variety of unexpected disruptions frequently occurred in manufacturing systems,  it is necessary to develop a reactive schedule which can absorb the effects of such disruptions. Such responding requires efficient strategies, policies, and methods to controlling production & maintaining high shop performance. This can be achieved through rescheduling task which defined as an essential operating function to efficiently tackle and response to uncertainties and unexpected events. The framework proposed in this study consists of rescheduling approaches, strategies, policies, and techniques, which represents a guideline for most manufacturing companies operating in such dynamic changing environments, facing a wide variety of unexpected events and disruptions.

Rescheduling strategies are dynamic scheduling & predictive\reactive scheduling. In practice, rescheduling done either periodically or occasionally, and in some cases it done in a hybrid manner as policies to plan activities for next time periods and at the same time to response to significant disruption. Some rescheduling methods used to create robust schedules by regenerating or updating schedules. These methods are: Time Shift Rescheduling, Partial Rescheduling, and Total Rescheduling.

The Role of Market-Share Management Strategies in Explaining the Stocks Performance Variance of a Number of Industrial Companies- An Analytical Research
...Show More Authors

The study aims to know the nature of the expected relationship between market share management strategies and the variation in the performance of the shares of a number of Iraqi industrial companies listed in the Iraqi Stock Exchange. For the period (2005-2018) in the light of both the monthly closing prices and sales volume during the research period, the (Panel Data) method was relied on through a stylistic test (fixed effects model and random effects model), and the results determined the need to adopt the fixed effects model method for sample data and test Assumptions, the results showed the positive impact of market share according to its strategies on the performance of stocks according to its studied indicators (Treynor index

Intellectual Approach in Corona Pandemic Designs
...Show More Authors

The intellectual approach is manifested in communicating information and achieving it in the best ways and methods, and that the philosophy of the approach falls under the sociological dimensions on the one hand and on the other hand is linked to the visual language presented by graphic design through an informative visual discourse that includes behavior and prophecy as two main axes for integration in presenting social, guiding and indicative educational topics to complete the picture of the achievement. In front of the recipient, the goals of the design were achieved in addressing the topic (Corona Pandemic), which took a social and cultural turn, and also included politics and economics, and went beyond the limits

Adaptive methods for matching problem
...Show More Authors

In this paper, we deal with the problem of general matching of two images one of them has experienced geometrical transformations, to find the correspondence between two images. We develop the invariant moments for traditional techniques (moments of inertia) with new approach to enhance the performance for these methods. We test various projections directional moments, to extract the difference between Block Distance Moment (BDM) and evaluate their reliability. Three adaptive strategies are shown for projections directional moments, that are raster (vertical and horizontal) projection, Fan-Bean projection and new projection procedure that is the square projection method. Our paper started with the description of a new algorithm that is low

Identification by biological features gets tremendous importance with the increasing of security systems in society. Various types of biometrics like face, finger, iris, retina, voice, palm print, ear and hand geometry, in all these characteristics, iris recognition gaining attention because iris of every person is unique, it never changes during human lifetime and highly protected against damage. This unique feature shows that iris can be good security measure. Iris recognition system listed as a high confidence biometric identification system; mostly it is divide into four steps: Acquisition, localization, segmentation and normalization. This work will review various Iris Recognition systems used by different researchers for each recognit

Numerous integral and local electron density’s topological parameters of significant metal-metal and metal-ligand bonding interactions in a trinuclear tetrahydrido cluster [(Cp* Ir) (Cp Ru)2 (μ3-H) (μ-H)3]1 (Cp = η5 -C5Me5), (Cp* = η5 -C5Me4Et) were calculated and interpreted by using the quantum theory of atoms in molecules (QTAIM). The properties of bond critical points such as the delocalization indices δ (A, B), the electron density ρ(r), the local kinetic energy density G(r), the Laplacian of the electron density ∇2ρ(r), the local energy density
