Abstract The Synthesis in good yields of some new 1,8-Naphthyridine derivatives (1-9) and characterized on the basis of IR and 1H NMR spectra data. The compounds (1) and (6) were utilized as a starting material for the preparing of these compounds.

  In this research we prepared thin films from pure polymer  (polyvinyl alcohol PVA )and doped with CuO with concentration 8% ,and Fe2Cl3 at different concentrations (1,5,8)%.This films were prepared by casting method and placed in Britidish (4cm diameter )with thickness(200±5)μm.Through the investigation of(X-ray )diffraction it is found all that the samples have polycrystalline structure .Also we measurement the optical properties from this films such as absorption ,transmittion spectra ,absorption coefficient ,energy gap ,extinction coefficient ,refraction index ,finesse coefficient ,the dielectric constant with two parts the real and the imaginary and the optical conductivity .  
 

The current study aims to assess the effectiveness of the cognitive-behavioral programs in reducing stuttering and social anxiety among high-school students. The researchers used the experimental design. The sample consists of (20) male students who reported the highest score on the stuttering severity scale and social anxiety scale. The sample was divided into experimental and control groups (each group consists of 10 participants). The researcher used the type and severity of stuttering scale developed by Onslow et al (2003), translated by Mahmoud Ismail and the social anxiety scale was prepared by the authors. The surface finish of the machining part is the mostly important characteristics of products quality and its indispensable customers’ requirement. Taguchi robust parameters designs for optimizing for surface finish in turning of 7025 AL-Alloy using carbide cutting tool has been utilized in this paper. Three machining variables namely; the machining speeds (1600, 1900, and 2200) rpm, depth of cut (0.25, 0.50, 0.75) mm and the feed rates (0.12, 0.18, 0.24) mm/min utilized in the experiments. Abstract

The research examined with the importance banking merger to address the situation of Troubled banks in Iraq, Through The use of Logistic Regression Model. . The study attempted to present a conceptual aspect of banking merger and logistic regression, as well as the applied aspect which includes a sample consisting of six private Iraqi banks, and the hypothesis of the study is that the promotion of mergers among banks has positive impacts on improving the efficiency of performance of troubled banks, which contributes to the increase of banking services, raise of their financial indicators and the high liquidity and profits of the new banking entity as it is a way to overcome the prevailing banking crises.

Objectives: To assess the knowledge and practice of thalassemic patients about desferal administration and

Methodology: The present study composed of (50) thalssemic patient who are registered in center and was
performed in Ibn Al-Atheer center for congenital anemia for the period from 15/12/2006 to 1/4/2007.

Objective(s): The aim of this study is to compare the impact strength of a heat cured denture-base acrylic resin
reinforced with metal wire and glass fibers.

Methodology: Forty five specimens were prepared from pink heat cure acrylic resin. Specimens were grouped into;
group-I (control group) which consists of 15 specimens with no reinforcement, group-II which consists of 15 specimens
reinforced with metal wire, and group-III consists of 15 specimens reinforced with glass fibers. Specimens were tested
by using charpy impact machine.

Results: The result showed that there was a highly significant difference in impact strength value among the testing
groups at (P < 0.001).
