The k-out-of-n:G (or k/n:G) system structure is a very popular of redundancy in
fault-tolerant systems, with wide applications in so many fields. This paper presents
two states of multi-state k/n:G systems. The first part, we present the definition that
introduced by Al-Neweihi et al [1], where the values are the same with respect
to all system states and we show that there exists an alternative equivalent definition
to Al-Neweihi's definition. In the second part of this paper we give more general
definition proposed by Huang et al [2], where it allows different values with
respect to different system states and we provide there exists an equivalent definition
to Huang's definition when the values are increasing.

Gravity and magnetic data are used to study the tectonic situation of Al-Kut- Al-
Hai and surrounding areas in central Iraq. The study included application of many
processing and interpretation programs. The window method with different spacing
was used to separate the residual from regional anomalies for gravity and magnetic
data. The Total Horizontal Derivative (THDR) techniques used to identify the fault
trends in the basement and sedimentary cover rocks depending upon gravity and
magnetic data. The identified faults in the study area show (NW-SE), (NE-SW) (NS)
and (E-W) trends. It is believed that these faults extending from the basement to
the upper most layer of the sedimentary cover rocks.

This study comprised three traverses extending parallel through the Northern, Central and Southern Mahmudiya districts, and perpendicular to the course of the Euphrates River. They were identified to collect (15) soil samples and some water samples as distributed within the land cover classes of the study area. Those classes were determined by visual interpretation and supervised classification for Landsat (TM) images obtained in August/2007. The digital classification was based on Maximum Likelihood method using six spectral bands excluding the thermal band.    In this study the Individuals of Ostracoda crustacean Cyclocypria were used as bioclaner of two species of bacteria namely Escherichia coli & Staphylococcus aurous, these bacteria have been introduced to an artificial aquatic environment with known number from pure cultures. The aim was to check the predation efficiency and ecological role of Cyclocypria as biological cleaners.      The results showed that the predation rate was between 6 106 ×  and 7× 10 6 colony/ ml/ 3 days/ 10 crustacean in the first three days. Extraction and identification of parsley (Petroselinum sativum) seeds flavonoids (apigenin), as well as evaluation its anticancer efficacy was the main aim of the current study. Thin layer chromatography results clarified that apigenin is the major flavonoid in parsley seeds. The cytotoxic effect of apigenin in mammary adenocarcinoma (AMN3) bearing mice was manifested through significant (P ≤ 0.01) reduction in tumor volume and growth rate inhibition (90.8 %) after 24 days of oral administration at a dose of 300 mg/kg body weight. The volume of tumor in the treated group reached 1354.8 mm³ while the recorded size of the control was 14758 mm³. Transplanted cancer mice showed a significant (P ≤ 0.01) elevation in concentration of liver,
