Asymmetry of accounting information - the reasons and proposed treatments
...Show More Authors

The research aims to identify the reasons that lead to asymmetry of information between economic unity administration and the parties that use accounting information such as shareholders, So,  the ability to reach to the solutions that would reduce this problem, these factors have been divided into two types: the first one is the internal factors which represent the administration's desire   in order to expand the self-interest of getting the profits and increase the value and competitive entity and investors to obtaining greater returns for their shares, so the second type is the external factors, which represent the failer that occurs in the laws and regulations  and un-following the criterions of professional conduct by accountants adopted by these units, so to achieve the research objectives, the Researcher has adopted the Inductive approach in view the topic, which was adopted on an extrapolation of the previous experiments and research in the accounting literature review. A questionnaire has been applicated  and distributed to a sample of accountants and professionals working in the economic units that represent the  research sample with total form of (75) persons ,

the most important results reached by this paper that the existing gaps in the Unified Accounting System led to influence the objectivity and credibility of the accounting information contained in the financial statements of economic units in the research sample. As well as the uniform accounting system in its current form does not respond to the needs of the accounting information users, so it requires modifications to ensure consistency with the changes in the business environment of the fact that the use of the principle of historical cost inappropriate manner that reflects the appropriate financial statements and presentation of accounting information to suit all the needs of its users, and no longer provides sufficient information on the business results in economic units of the research sample, it did not take into account changes in the needs of accounting information users, in addition to not taken into account the social and environmental performance of the unit and economic research found that if you do not include corporate law amendments dealing all developments that occur in the contemporary business environment and what should be on the boards of directors have to deal with these variables, led to the effect found in how their duties and functions of the public body.

Selection of an Optimum Drilling Fluid Model to Enhance Mud Hydraulic System Using Neural Networks in Iraqi Oil Field
...Show More Authors

In drilling processes, the rheological properties pointed to the nature of the run-off and the composition of the drilling mud. Drilling mud performance can be assessed for solving the problems of the hole cleaning, fluid management, and hydraulics controls. The rheology factors are typically termed through the following parameters: Yield Point (Yp) and Plastic Viscosity (μp). The relation of (YP/ μp) is used for measuring of levelling for flow. High YP/ μp percentages are responsible for well cuttings transportation through laminar flow. The adequate values of (YP/ μp) are between 0 to 1 for the rheological models which used in drilling. This is what appeared in most of the models that were used in this study. The pressure loss

Detection of some virulence genes (esp, agg, gelE, CylA) in Enterococcus faecalis isolated from different clinical cases at Baghdad
...Show More Authors

The virulent genes are the key players in the ability of the bacterium to cause disease. The products of such genes that facilitate the successful colonization and survival of the bacterium in or cause damage to the host are pathogenicity determinants. This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of virulence factors (esp, agg, gelE, CylA) in E. faecalis isolated from diverse human clinical collected in Iraqi patient , as well as to assess their ability to form biofilm and to determine their haemolytic and gelatinase activities. Thirty-two isolates of bacteria Enterococcus faecalis were obtained, including 15 isolates (46.87%) of the urine, 6 isolates (18.75%) for each of the stool and uterine secretions, and 5 isolates (15.62%) of the wo

Background: Many materials were proposed as root canal obturating materials but the biocompatibility issue remains to be a critical one. Propolis has been used as a therapeutic agent since the time of Hippocrates. It is known that propolis exhibits some pharmacological activities, such as antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal and anti inflammatory activity. Materials and methods: Eighteen albino rats were used in the study and divided randomly into three groups of 6 animals for each group. Each group was scheduled to be sacrificed at different time periods, which were three days, one week and three weeks. Propolis and ZOE sealer implants of 4mm in diameter and 0.5 gm in weight were implanted in the dorsal side of the rats. At the end of the

An An Accurate Estimation of Shear Wave Velocity Using Well Logging Data for Khasib Carbonate Reservoir - Amara Oil Field
...Show More Authors

Shear and compressional wave velocities, coupled with other petrophysical data, are vital in determining the dynamic modules magnitude in geomechanical studies and hydrocarbon reservoir characterization. But, due to field practices and high running cost, shear wave velocity may not available in all wells. In this paper, a statistical multivariate regression method is presented to predict the shear wave velocity for Khasib formation - Amara oil fields located in South- East of Iraq using well log compressional wave velocity, neutron porosity and density. The accuracy of the proposed correlation have been compared to other correlations. The results show that, the presented model provides accurate
