Thermal decomposition of used tires was studied under atmospheric pressure and thermal heating program up to 350 °C for 110-120 min in a glass reactor. The effects of using MgO or SiO2 as catalyst in the thermal pyrolysis of tires waste on the yield ratio, reaction time, initial degree of decomposition also the contents of BTEX compounds in resulting pyrolytic oil was estimated via GC-FID. The results showed that the MgO catalyst gave a gas output in proportion of 17.063%, a liquid in a proportion of 38.245% and a solid product in proportion of 44.733%, while the SiO2 catalyst gave proportions of 14.308%, 40.161% and 45.448% for gas, liquid and solid products respectively. Objective(s): The aim of this study is to compare the impact strength of a heat cured denture-base acrylic resin
reinforced with metal wire and glass fibers.

Methodology: Forty five specimens were prepared from pink heat cure acrylic resin. Specimens were grouped into;
group-I (control group) which consists of 15 specimens with no reinforcement, group-II which consists of 15 specimens
reinforced with metal wire, and group-III consists of 15 specimens reinforced with glass fibers. Specimens were tested
by using charpy impact machine.

The present study was designed to evaluate the hepatoprotective effect of aqueous extract of Camellia sinensis (Green tea) against MTX-induced liver damage in rats. The mixed ligand complexes of Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Cd(II) and Hg(II) with alanine and 8-hydroxyqinoline (Oxine) were synthesized and characterized by FT-IR ,spectra electronic, flam-AAS] along with conductivity measurements , solubility , melting point, magnetic susceptipibility.The synthesized complexes were tested in vitro for antimicrobial activity.
