Refractory mortar was prepared from the mixing of locally fire clay with different percentage of silica powder (30,40,50,60)wt% by using Pyrometric Cone Equivalent PCE . According to the U.S. Standard ASTM C24, the samples were prepared by using Hand – molding method and dried at temperature 110⁰C and finally firing at different temperature (1000,1100,1200,1300)⁰C according to burning program to study the effect of temperatures for these specimens on the thermal durability .It was shown that the increasing in the percentage of silica content increased the durability of heat specimens, and the best degree of burn was 1300°C.

Cosmetic products contain variable amounts of nutrients that support microbial growth. Most contaminants   in   cosmetic   products   include bacteria such as Staphylococcus, Pseudomonas, Klebsiella,   Achromobacter   and   Alcaligenes. Contaminated water  is  a  likely  source  of organisms found in cosmetic products. Products such as shampoo, hand and body lotion, facial cleanser,  and liquid soaps were analyzed. This study used remote sensing data to monitor agricultural and meteorological drought in Babel Governorate. Drought maps were drawn using Landsat 8 images based on Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) for 2015, 2018, and 2021. The meteorological drought was assessed using a standardized precipitation index (SPI 12) for the same years. The results showed that the SPI-12 indicated near-normal drought types in 2015 and 2018, whereas SPI values showed a lower value in 2021.
