Health Care Quality according to the measurement of the nursing performance efficiency in IBN AL-NAFIS Hospital

The study aimed to spread the culture of efficient performance between nursing staffs, which would contribute and achieve health care quality, and to clarify the role of nursing in improving the quality of high-quality health care, as well as to clarify how to reach national standards for the quality of health care in Iraq, Therefore, the study dealt with the efficiency of nursing performance as an explanatory variable, and the quality of health care as a dependent variable. The fact that the health sector is the foundation for building a healthy society free from diseases, so hospital of IBN AL-NAFIS as an institution and it's nursing teams were taken as a community for this study. The results to be objective and reflect the reality of the quality of medical service and more accurate, the researcher used a random sampling method in the selection of the study sample consisting of 60 nurse where a questionnaire was distributed 70 were retrieved 60 of them, and the rest is not valid due not to answer on all paragraphs. Based on the measured variables of the study, diagnosis and testing correlations and influence among them, the study found a set of conclusions, including that of harmony and cooperation between members of the nursing team helps to create a good working environment to drive toward  for a better performance,

Where the teamwork is an essential ingredient to provide health care acceptable and appreciation of the beneficiaries of that service, also that training affects in the development of technical skills and management for nurses and works to improve unwanted behaviors, which would contribute to health care quality. Set of recommendations were founds based on what this study conclusions, as well as submit some proposals that enhance aspects of these topics

Psychological and Health Risks of Children Toy-Related Injuries: Pellet-Gun as a Model

The research aims to identify the psychological and health risks that a child might be exposed to by playing with hazardous toys such as pellet guns. To this end, the researcher has visited Ibn Al-Haytham Eye Hospital in Baghdad, the emergency department to figure out the rate of injuries in Children for the consecutive years (2017-2018) and the first Month of (2019). The psychological risks as a result of disability are represented by the inability to accommodate the surrounding environment well. Additionally, the child experiences a kind of tension, conflict, and going in psychological crises through introversion, isolation, withdrawal tendencies, and poor conformity with himself and the Society.

This study aims to evaluate the performance of the sewage treatment plant in Al- Diwaniya, one of cities in the southern part in Iraq. This evaluation could be used to facilitate effluent quality assessment or optimal process control of the plant. The influent reaching the plant is considered a medium to strong in strength with BOD5/COD ratio in the range 0.23 and 0.69 which can be considered an easily degradable sewage by the biological processes performed by the activated sludge unit. The quality of the effluent was found to be higher than the Iraqi standards for disposal to water bodies. The BOD5/COD ratios of the treated sewage varied over a wide range as low of 0.13 to 1.48 indicating operational problems in the plant. Regressio
