NFT caused Congestion of blood vessels and infiltration of inflammatory cells in liver in all used concentrations.

Taguchi experimental design method was employed to find the best conditions for the removal efficiency of phenol and its derivatives generated during the process. Abstract: Culinary is a lexical item (Latin origin) which means kitchen. Culinary verbs have to do with cooking or kitchen. This paper tackles one of the Iraqi EFL learners’ difficulties of translating English culinary verbs into Arabic. It is considered significant for both translators and students of translation. It probes why Iraqi EFL learners are unable to find the appropriate Arabic equivalents of some English culinary verbs. Such English culinary verbs as broil, grate , simmer are mistranslated because they have no equivalents in Arabic and appear to be culture-specific terms that reflect the tradition of cooking. Nowadays, the field of radionuclide treatment is enjoying an exciting stage and preparing for further growth and progress in the future. For instance, in Asia, the large spread of liver and thyroid diseases has resulted in several new developments/clinical trials using molecular radiotherapy (i.e. targeted radionuclide therapy). Iodine-124 has unique physical properties including long half-life that adding an advantage for pharmacokinetics and radiopharmaceutical analysis. One of its applications in nuclear medicine is in Positron Emission Tomography (PET).

In-vitro biological activities of the free new H4L ( indole-7-thiocarbohydrazone) ligand and its Ni(II), Pd(II) , Pt(II), Cu(II), Ag(I), Zn(II) and Cd(II) complexes are screened against two cancerous cell lines, that revealed significant activity only for [Cu2Cl2(H4L)2(PPh3)2] after 72 h treatment by the highest tested concentrations. The Copper(I) complex was characterized by X-ray Crystallography and the NMR spectra, whereas it has been confirmed to have momentous cytotoxicity against ovarian, breast cancerous cell lines (Caov-3, MCF-7). The apoptosis-inducing properties of the Cu(I) complex have been investigated through fluorescence microscopy visualization, DNA fragmentation analysis and propidium iodide flow cytometry.

Many strains of lactic bacteria produce antimicrobial peptides of bacteriocins that are antibiotics used against pathogenic strains. The present work aimed to use a banana peels medium in the fermentation process to replace the commercial MRS medium for decreasing the cost of bacteriocins LAB production. Based on the result, banana peel was a cost-effective and viable alternative carbon source for the production and development of bacteriocin-producing Lactobacilli. The growth of lactobacilli in commercial MRS medium and Banana Peel medium showed no differences, therefore banana peel waste can be used to produce Lactobacilli bacteriocins. Lactobacillus strains grew exceptionally well at 37 C and pH 6.0.

In this paper, a study was made to determine the properties of Jovian radio bursts emitted at frequency 20.1MHZ. The data were provided from the Radio Jove archive for twelve years (2000-2012) for multi stations. The duration time for Long bursts (L) was (10-30) seconds and for Short bursts (S) was (10-20) seconds. The effect of radio bursts from the Sun and the galactic background were calculated at the same frequency and were found that radio bursts from the Sun will reduce the occurrence probability of Jovian radio bursts much more than radio bursts from the galactic background. The distribution of Jovian radio bursts was different; the occurrence probability with respect to the northern latitudes was more than the southern latitudes.
