...Show More Authors

Most countries in the world particularly developing countries, including Iraq,  facing  extremely dangerous problem with social and political dimensions, which is the emergence of the food crisis  problem ,the decrease in domestic food production in Iraq isn't meet the needs of its population food, due to the fact that the agricultural sector suffers from multiple natural ,economic  and human   problems .It is still below the level required to meet the needs of the population  of  food ,since food  at the forefront of priorities needed by the human . This represents indispensable  basic  necessity , so the responsibility of its availability permanently  in appropriate   quantity and  type should be done by the state and its related institutions  because it is a human right ,for this the presence of food crisis in Iraq and their increase is a big dilemma should be addressed through the availability of the necessary quantities  of food for the local population and improve the quality of food affordable that  they have. But we find that the state instead of  take strategic solutions  to face the crisis worked  to increase agricultural production tended to containment of crisis by imports from abroad,  this is what will put the state  in  large risks that are difficult to face in the future  ,and due to the importance of that issue, the study  reveal the reality of the food crisis in Iraq, and  the reasons leading to it, so that to find ways to address them.

Seasonal variation and correlation between the physical, chemical and microbiological parameters of Nile water in selected area in Egypt (Case study): physical, chemical and microbiological parameters of Nile water
...Show More Authors

Fresh water resources in terms of water quality is a crucial issue worldwide. In Egypt, the Nile River is the main source of fresh water in the country and monitoring its water quality is a major task on governments and research levels. In the present case study, the physical, chemical and algal distribution in Nile River was monitored over two seasons (winter and summer) in 2019. The aims of the study were to check the seasonal variation among the different water parameters and also to check the correlations between those parameters. Water samples were collected from the Nile in Cairo governorate in EGYPT. The different physiochemical and microbiological properties in water samples were assessed. The studied parameters were included: te

Nations are developed with education and knowledge that raise the status of society in its various segments, beyond that it leads to underdevelopment and deterioration in various sectors, whether economic, health, social, etc. If we considered the general name of The ministry of Education & Scientific Studies, then the second part seems to be not functioning, since scientific research has no material allocation and remains based on the material potential of the university professor. As for the first half of the topic, the reality of the situation reveals problems related to the Holy Trinity of Education which is (Professor - Student - the scientific method) where universities suffer at the present time from this problem, and

The current study aims to determine the prevalence of Trichomonas vaginalis and Candida spp., and also to identify Candida parapsilosis and some virulence genes. It was conducted in Bint Al-Hoda Hospital of Maternity and Children in Thi-Qar province, south of Iraq for the period from the beginning of January to the end of December 2020. Two hundred and fifty samples were collected from the female genital tract for women whose age ranged between 17-50 years. Microscopic, traditional and molecular tests were used in the sample examination. The results recorded 12 (4.8%) samples infected with T. vaginalis parasite, whereas 130 (52%) samples showed Candida yeast distributed as follows: 75 (30 %) <

Atan regularized for the high dimensional Poisson regression model
...Show More Authors

Variable selection in Poisson regression with high dimensional data has been widely used in recent years. we proposed in this paper using a penalty function that depends on a function named a penalty. An Atan estimator was compared with Lasso and adaptive lasso. A simulation and application show that an Atan estimator has the advantage in the estimation of coefficient and variables selection.

"RUF procedures forgetting the best subset linear regression model"
...Show More Authors

The purpose behind building the linear regression model is to describe the real linear relation between any explanatory variable in the model and the dependent one, on the basis of the fact that the dependent variable is a linear function of the explanatory variables and one can use it for prediction and control. This purpose does not cometrue without getting significant, stable and reasonable estimatros for the parameters of the model, specifically regression-coefficients. The researcher found that "RUF" the criterian that he had suggested accurate and sufficient to accomplish that purpose when multicollinearity exists provided that the adequate model that satisfies the standard assumpitions of the error-term can be assigned. This narrative review focused on research investigating the impact of loneliness on the prevalence of dementia and its relationship with other risk factors. A comprehensive and rigorous search was conducted using a variety of scientific databases with specific keywords to identify all prior studies that examined the correlation between dementia and loneliness. The inquiry was confined to articles published in English from January 2017 to March 2024. The narrative review identified a consensus regarding the role of loneliness in enhancing the risk of all‐cause dementia, with a particular emphasis on the subjective perception of loneliness. Contracts in light of the Corona pandemic between the emergency circumstance and force majeure

The "Corona" pandemic that strikes the world has cast a shadow over contractual obligations, whether between individuals or companies, and emergency accidents and force majeure circumstances have a direct impact on them. Here, the legislation intervenes and sets the legal mechanisms to restore the obligations to their equal status and achieve the economic balance of the contract. Health crises are among the material facts whose effects are reflected and their features can be monitored on legal relations in general and contractual relations in particular, including the extent of the impact that this pandemic can have on the obligations that arise within the framework of a contractual relationship, which can be talked about in my theory Force
