...Show More Authors

Abstract :

The research aims to diagnose some of the negative phenomena
( Counterfiting , Pettifogging , Embezzlement ) that have been detected over the past ( 2010 – 2014 ), a fixed-term part of the national strategy for the fight against corruption launched by the Joint Council for the fight against corruption in Iraq and measuring the application of government control according to the American standard GAO standards and identifying the potential for the application of those standards gap. It has been collecting data and information of special issues of corruption reports and meeting with (42) employees and the use of a checklist has been prepared for this purpose. The use of a set of statistical tools which were represented by (mean, standard deviation, Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression coefficient). Search to find a set of conclusions, most notably the possibility of applying the government control standards by the US GAO Office of the Inspector General at the Ministry of Construction and Housing to reduce some of the negative phenomena that have been detected according to the anti-corruption strategy. The research found a set of recommendations from the most important necessity directed the respondent to identify the components of government control and standards and how to benefit from them as providing a minimum of guidance and direction to ensure outstanding performance and success in achieving the goals of the office management strategies.

The Dynamics of Modified Leslie-Gower Predator-Prey Model Under the Influence of Nonlinear Harvesting and Fear Effect
...Show More Authors

A modified Leslie-Gower predator-prey model with fear effect and nonlinear harvesting is developed and investigated in this study. The predator is supposed to feed on the prey using Holling type-II functional response. The goal is to see how fear of predation and presence of harvesting affect the model's dynamics. The system's positivity and boundlessness are demonstrated. All conceivable equilibria's existence and stability requirements are established. All sorts of local bifurcation occurrence conditions are presented. Extensive numerical simulations of the proposed model are shown in form of Phase portraits and direction fields. That is to guarantee the correctness of the theoretical results of the dynamic behavior of the system and t

The Study of the Effect of Sodium Nitroprusside in Anxiety-Like Behavior in Mice in Comparison With Diazepam
...Show More Authors

Anxiety has become a highly paramount field of research attention in psychopharmacology today. Sundry studies have shown a nitric oxide role in the regulation of anxiety. The goal of the study was to investigate sodium nitroprusside ability to affect anxiety-like behavior in mice and to compare this effect with the standard anxiolytic drug, diazepam, using both plus maze test and light/dark box test. The results revealed that sodium nitroprusside at a dose of 1 mg/kg had a significant effect on the behavior in both of the elevated plus maze test and light/dark test. However, at higher dose (3 mg/kg), it has significantly increased the anxiogenic-like effect in the light/dark box test. Diazepam at a dose of 2 mg/kg increased the time spen

Study the Effects of Microwave Furnace Heat on The Mechanical Properties and Estimated Fatigue life of AA2024-T3
...Show More Authors

This research aims to study the effect of microwave furnace heat on the mechanical properties and fatigue life of aluminum alloy (AA 2024-T3). Four conditions were used inside microwave furnace (specimens subjected to heat as dry for 30 and 60min. and specimens subjected to heat as wet (water) for 30 and 60 min.), and compared all results with original alloy (AA 2024-T3). Tensile, fatigue, hardness and surface roughness tests were used in this investigation. It is found that hardness of dry conditions is higher than wet conditions and it increases with increasing of time duration inside microwave furnace for dry and wet conditions. Also, tensile strength has the same behavior of hardness, but it increases with decreasing

The Study Effect of Lighting of Non – Regular on Statistical Properties for the Written Text on Whiteboard
...Show More Authors

Lighting is a very important element of treatment if the color contains many imaging system (digital cameras) and the unit of light and the light within these units are not strong , but usefel when the light is low , in different lighting intensities conditions image quality will not persist good enough and image may become dark or slightly exposed to light which leads to lower the details in image where we can not modify contrast or light ness to compensate thr decrease without losing the light and dark deatials . So we went in this research to study the variation colored texts written on the painting and lighting cases of non –regular ( a few) and different distances . As the diversity of these texts written on the board a

Numerical Analysis of the Effect of Scanning Speed on the Temperature Field Distribution for Laser Heat Treatment Applications
...Show More Authors

One of the unique properties of laser heating applications is its powerful ability for precise pouring of energy on the needed regions in heat treatment applications. The rapid rise in temperature at the irradiated region produces a high temperature gradient, which contributes in phase metallurgical changes, inside the volume of the irradiated material. This article presents a comprehensive numerical work for a model based on experimentally laser heated AISI 1110 steel samples. The numerical investigation is based on the finite element method (FEM) taking in consideration the temperature dependent material properties to predict the temperature distribution within the irradiated material volume. The finite element analysis (FEA) was carried
