The quality of higher education requirements and its impacts in achieving organizational excellence: The case study of the Universities of Baghdad and AL-Nahrain

Abstract

This research aims to determine the role of the quality of higher education in achieving organizational excellence at the universities of Baghdad and Al-Nahren, was based on research on the main hypothesis is:First:- There is correlation and between the quality of higher education dimensions (continuous improvement, measurement and analysis, the culture of the organization, optimal use of resources , customer satisfaction) and organizational excellence dimensions (strategic planning, focusing on the market and the customer, information and analysis, the effectiveness of operations, processes and resources), Second:- Second, there is the impact of relationship significant differences between the quality of higher education dimensions (continuous improvement, measurement and analysis, organizational culture, optimal use of resources, customer satisfaction) and excellence organizational dimensions (strategic planning, focusing on the market and the customer, information and analysis, the effectiveness of operations, processes and resources ) Find data using statistical program ready analysis (SPSS) is the most important statistical tools used in the analysis are: the mean, standard deviation, coefficient of variation, and the coefficient of simple linear correlation (Spearman) to test the validity of hypotheses link and simple linear regression to test the health impact, He followed Find approach field study, through which the researcher found a set of results through the testing and analysis of hypotheses Adopted by the research, most notably: the statistical results recorded that all the correlations of the quality of higher education and excellence organization was strong and significance as well as the impact of relationships have all been significant significantly. Which refers to the role of the quality of higher education in influencing the achievement of organizational excellence of the universities. The research found a number of recommendations, including: the need for Investment and the application of the quality of higher education programs and organizational excellence of their impact on the positive Alambhottin the two universities.

The research aims to identify the factors that affect the quality of the product by using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) tool and to suggest measures to reduce the deviations or defects in the production process. I used the case study approach to reach its goals, and the air filter product line was chosen in the air filters factory of Al-Zawraa General Company. The research sample was due to the emergence of many defects of different impact and the continuing demand for the product. I collected data and information from the factory records for two years (2018-2019) and used a scheme Pareto Fishbone Diagram as well as an FMEA tool to analyze data and generate results.

Websites Quality Assessment of Iraqi Universities Using the WDQI Index

The Web Design Quality Index, known as WDQI, was applied to assess the quality of websites for six Iraqi universities, namely Basra University, Mosul, Muthanna, Samarra, Dijla University College, and Al-Isra University College. The results of the index showed that the universities of Basra and Dijla University College had the highest value, at 71.07 and 70.39, respectively. Its final evaluation metric was that the website of these two universities needed a slight improvement. As for the rest of the other universities, the final values of the index ranged from 64.72-69.71.
