The study included the extraction of volatile oil from Mentha piperita which was 1.3 % in the leaves and flowers . Volatile oil of the Mentha piperita leaves had special aromatic odour, pale yellow color, slightly pungent taste . The specific gravity and refractive index were (0.9794) and ( 1.464) respectively. The inhibition activity of the Mentha piperita Volatile oil extracts were studied on some pathogenic microorganisms like Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella typhi, Escherichia coli, Proteus sp, and Klebsiella pneumoniae . In this study found treatment mice exposed to CCl4 with the alcoholic extract of Pleurotus ostreatus (P2) at (25) mg/ml appeared to exert a beneficial effect since the activities of catalase, was significantly (p<0.05) higher in liver treatment with alcoholic extract of P. ostreatus (P2) (37.290+2.638) μmol/mg than in aqueous extract for the same fungus (36.557+2.231) μmol/mg. Super oxide dismutase (SOD) was significantly (p<0.05) higher in liver treatment with alcoholic extract of P. ostreatus (P2) at (25) mg/ml (17.863+0.454)U/mg than in aqueous extract (17.863+0.454) U/mg for the same fungus and same concentration. Glutathione peroxidase (Gpx) was significantly (p<0.05) higher in liver treatment with alcoholic extract of P.

This study presents determination of the paleostress magnitudes and orientation of Bekhme Structure in Shaqlawa area northeastern Iraq. Paleostress Analysis of slip-fault measurements is performed using Right dihedral, Lisle diagram and Mohr Circles methods. Depending on Mohr Circles, Bott law and vertical thickness, the magnitudes of the paleostress at the time of the tectonic activity were determined. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of different doses of Duprost in the liver and blood of albino mice. The current study included twenty one albino mice, obtained and grouped into 3 groups: control (3 mice), acute group (12 mice) and chronic group (6 mice). The acute group was subdivided into 4 groups and each group of 3mice, was given a lonely oral dose of (0.25ml, 0.15ml, 0.1 ml and 0.05ml respectively) for 24 hours.
