Objectives : The study aims to assessing nurses’ knowledge concerning peritonitis- dialysis association at the
peritoneal dialysis units, and to identifying the relationship between some nurses’ knowledge and some of their
demographic characteristic.
Methodology : A descriptive study was carried out at the peritoneal dialysis units in Baghdad Teaching
Hospitals started from November 29th 2004 to August 15th, 2005. A purposive sample of (52) nurses was
selected from Baghdad Teaching Hospitals. The data were collected through the use of constructed
questionnaire, which comprised of (97) items as an interview questionnaire technique as mean of data

Al-Yusifia river was assessed at three sampling stations with study period from Autumn 2010 to the end of Summer 2011. The present investigation was carried out on diversity of fungi and bacteria from Al-Yusifia river, Baghdad city. During the study, a total of 12 fungal genus and 6 bacterial genus were isolated during the year seasons. ASTRACT

The current study aimed to identify the quality of health services provided by the Omani health sector through the comparison between public and private hospitals in Dhofar Governorate, Oman. A questionnaire has been developed to collect data from 360 patients who received health services in one public Hospital (Sultan Qaboos) and three private Hospitals (Badr Al-Sama, Lifeline, and Al-Hakeeim). The data were analyzed using independent samples T-Test and One Way ANOVA. The results of the study showed that the quality levels of health services offered in private hospitals were better than public hospitals. The study results also reveled that there are significant differences between public hospitals and private hos
