This research was carried out to determine the impact of heat shock, electric shock and seeds in soaking nitrous acid mutagen solution on three cultivars of faba beans plant (Zaina, Aguadulce and Local) at the year 2012-2013. Newly five polymers (P1P5) were synthesized from reaction bis 1, 3, 4 oxadiazole bisphenolmonomer with five different di acid chloride. The antibacterial activity of the synthesized polymers was screened against gram positive and gram negative bacteria. Polymers P4 and P5 exhibited significant antibacterial against all microorganisms, as well these polymers showed highest antifungal activity.

In this work, the effect of annealing temperature on the electrical properties are studied of p-Se/ n-Si solar cell, which p-Se are deposit by DC planar magnetron sputtering technique on crystal silicon. The chamber was pumped down to 2×10−5 mbar before admitting the gas in. The gas was Ar. The sputtering pressure varied within the range of 4x10-1 - 8x10-2mbar by adjusting the pumping speed through the opening control of throttle valve. The electrical properties are included the C-V and I-V measurements. From C-V measurements, the Vbi are calculated while from I-V measurements, the efficiency of solar cell is calculated.

This study concerns the isolation of oil degraded bacterial samples from oil polluted soil in Al-Dora refinery/ Baghdad – Iraq. Soil samples (15) were on mineral salt agar medium (MSM) used to screen the oil degrading bacteria by forming clear zones around the colonies. To confirm the degradation of oil by these bacteria, the isolates were inoculated in mineral salt broth, 15 isolates of Pseudomonas spp. was detected from which two isolates identified as P. aeruginosa by morphological, physical and biochemical characteristics that confirmed by using Vitick identification system.
