It is well known that sonography is not the first choice in detecting early breast tumors. Improving the resolution of breast sonographic image is the goal of many workers to make sonography a first choice examination as it is safe and easy procedure as well as cost effective. In this study, infrared light exposure of breast prior to ultrasound examination was implemented to see its effect on resolution of sonographic image. Results showed that significant improvement was obtained in 60% of cases.

Some types of the fungus Aspergillus were isolated from some hospitals in the city of Baghdad (Imam Ali Hospital and Sadr General Hospital). The samples were taken by Transport media at a rate of three replicates of each place isolated from samples from different places within the hospital (waste, baths, the sick beds, corridors and room floors) for the purpose of isolating and diagnosing the fungus on the Czapeck Dox Agar media. In this study the melting point and hardness of the paraffin wax was improved by mixing it with 1:1 ratio of micro crystalline wax then adding weight percentage wt% of locally produced nano particles (CuO,ZnO,AI2O3 and bentonite ) for each addition to the wax mixture. The results showed an increase in the melting point and hardness values of the prepared samples by increasing the weight percentage of each nano particles additives. . It was found that the addition of nano bentonite to the wax mixture gave high melting point values (122.5°C)and hardness (81.2)followed by melting point value (97°C)and hardness(68.2)resulting from the addition of CuO nano particles to the wax mixture compared to other used nano particles.
