The Use Of the Bayesian Method and Restricted Maximum Likelihood in estimating of mixed Linear Components with random effects model with practical application.
...Show More Authors

In this research we study a variance component model, Which is the one of the most important models widely used in the analysis of the data, this model is one type of a multilevel models, and it is considered as linear models , there are three types of linear variance component models ,Fixed effect of linear variance component model, Random effect of linear variance component model and Mixed effect of linear variance component model . In this paper we will examine the model of mixed effect of linear variance component model with one –way random effect ,and the mixed model is a mixture of fixed effect and random effect in the same model, where it contains the parameter (μ) and treatment effect (τi ) which  has a known probability distribution , The goal of this research The parameters of this mixed linear model will be estimated using the estimation methods, The method of the restricted maximum likelihood for one– way random model and bayesian method. When the bayes method includes a gibbs sampling, And the determine the best method in the application side by Coefficient of variation. The application side concluds the experience of the effect of varieties of oats plant (one –way) according to the randomized complete design with five replication and the experiment included six varieties of oats plant to represent a random sample drawn from a population at randomly, In order to study the effect of the six  varieties different of oats plant in some studied trait , Such as the quantity of grain yield measured (g /m2) . The results show that of practical application it was Concluded in through this reseearh The Pseudic method proved to be efficient of the significance of the differences between the treatments It also achieved the best in estimating the parameters of the model using the criterion of Coefficient of variation  where it was the lowest.

Coreless optical fiber for hemoglobin (HB) sensing with bilayer based on surface plasmon resonance
...Show More Authors

In this work, an optical fiber biomedical sensor for detecting the ratio of the hemoglobin in the blood is presented. A surface plasmon resonance (SPR)-based coreless optical fiber was developed and implemented using single- and multi-mode optical fibers. The sensor is also utilized to evaluate refractive indices and concentrations of hemoglobin in blood samples, with 40 nm thickness of (20 nm Au and 20 nm Ag) to increase the sensitivity. It is found in practice that when the sensitive refractive index increases, the resonant wavelength increases due to the decrease in energy.

Meiobenthic Invertebrates Community Associated with Aquatic plant Ceratophyllum demersum Salamiyat irrigation canal / north Baghdad
...Show More Authors

The aim of the present study is to study the meiobenthic invertebrate's community associated with the aquatic plant Ceratophyllum demersum in Al-Salamiyat irrigation canal / north Baghdad, with the chemical and physical parameters of the canal water, during the study period from September 2015 to May 2016. Two sites were chosen for sample collection, the first site (S1) at the beginning of the canal near it's connection with Tigris river, and the second site (S2) after 10 km from the first site. The chemico-physical analysis results revealed that the water temperature ranged from 10-30oC, and pH values ranged between 6.9-7.8, and the dissolved oxygen concentration and the BOD values from 7.2-9.2 mg/l, and 1.2-5.4 mg/l, respectively. The sal

White Spot Lesions Among Patients Treated With Fixed Orthodontic Appliance at Different Time Intervals
...Show More Authors

ABSTRACT Background:- White spot lesions are common esthetic problem that compromise the success of orthodontic treatment. This study aimed to assess white spot lesions in patients with fixed orthodontic appliance at different time intervals. Materials & Methods:- Thirty two patients (24 females and 8 males) were included in this study and they underwent clinical examination for white spot lesions using enamel decalcification index at four time intervals: (2-3 weeks after appliance insertion, 2, 4 and 6 months). Results:- The patients were free of white spot lesions at the appliance insertion visit. The mean of white spot lesions was 2.22 which were increased significantly during six months to reach 24.59 at the end of study. There was a si

Abstract

This research aims to assess and measure the quality of health services provided by the Baghdad Educational Hospital using  five dimensions of 5Qs , Developer model by (Zinelidin), 2006), the problem of the research is to try to determine the quality of health services provided at the hospital as well as the investigation of the existence of the elements of quality contribute to achieve the requirements of customers and their needs, and used for the purposes of this research two approaches, first used Applied Research to 5Qs dimension model and use the Checklist as a Key tool to collection and analysis of data and the second descriptive analytical me

THE ROLE OF SPECIFIC AMINO ACIDS IN THE PROTECTION OF E. COLI AGAINST B-LACTAM ANTIBIOTICS IN VITRO
...Show More Authors

The role of specific amino acids namely cysteine, methionine, threonine and asparagine in the protection provided by vamin solution against B-lactam inhibition to E. coli was evaluated in vitro In minimal medium, cells were treated with 32 ug/ml of penicillin G, carbenciLlin, hostacillin, cloxacillin and cephalotin in the presence of specific amino acid supplementation. Deletion of specific amino acids from the media abolished the protection provided by vamin. Threonine was essential for the protection of cells against all tested antibiotics, while cysteine was essential for protection against carbencillin and sephalotin. Deletion of methionine or asparagine abolished the protection against carbencillin and to a less extent cephalotin.

Consent in Reality TV Program Contracts – A Legal Study in Light of the American Experience
...Show More Authors

The development of the television industry has led to the emergence of a new type of entertainment program in which producers have abandoned stereotypes in traditional programs, known as (Reality TV show). This type of program has spread rapidly in America, (where there are more than 40 series of these programs), as well as Europe and more than twenty countries around the world, including the Arab countries, where the number of these programs today to about 1000 programs and the number is increasing , Especially with the readiness of the production networks to produce more of these programs for the huge profits they derive from them (because of the high viewing rates and the large number of ads broadcast through them) in return for low prod
