Abstract

The Classical Normal Linear Regression Model Based on Several hypotheses, one of them is Heteroscedasticity as it is known that the wing of least squares method (OLS), under the existence of these two problems make the estimators, lose their desirable properties, in addition the statistical inference becomes unaccepted table. According that we put tow alternative,  the first one is  (Generalized Least Square) Which is denoted by (GLS), and the second alternative is to (Robust covariance matrix estimation) the estimated parameters method(OLS), and that the way (GLS) method neat and certified, if the capabilities (Efficient) and the statistical inference Thread on the basis of an acceptable but this method requires knowledge and knowledge of the nature of the problem and the private model of the problem, whether the Heteroscedasticity otherwise, the method (GLS) become inappropriate. The second alternative is a matrix contrast common variation fortified it does not require prior knowledge of the nature of your problem model, it's also an easy way and by this method has met with popular and interest in more than two decades by researchers, that the estimated of Robust covariance matrix the estimated parameters method(OLS), shall be according to data that is handled type, and we have dealt with in this study, cross-sectional data where the problem of Heteroscedasticity in contrast may be contained therein(Heteroscedasticity- Consistent Covariance matrix Estimation) and symbolized by the (HCCME) and includes many ways, and we have dealt with in our study of these methods

The Effect of Gas Flow on Plasma Parameters Induced by Microwave
...Show More Authors

In this paper, construction microwaves induced plasma jet(MIPJ) system. This system was used to produce a non-thermal plasma jet at atmospheric pressure, at standard frequency of 2.45 GHz and microwave power of 800 W. The working gas Argon (Ar) was supplied to flow through the torch with adjustable flow rate by using flow meter, to diagnose microwave plasma optical emission spectroscopy(OES) was used to measure the important plasma parameters such as electron temperature (Te), residence time (Rt), plasma frequency (?pe), collisional skin depth (?), plasma conductivity (?dc), Debye length(?D). Also, the density of the plasma electron is calculated with the use of Stark broadened profiles

Shear Thickening Behaviour of Cross-Linked Polyacrylamide Gels Induced by Gas Flow in Porous Media
...Show More Authors

Excessive water production is a persistent challenge in oil and gas wells, with polymer and gel solutions commonly employed for water control. This study investigates the rheological behaviour of cross-linked polyacrylamide gels and their impact on water shutoff treatment in gas wells. Rheological measurements, coreflooding experiments using Berea sandstone samples, and micromodel flow visualizations were conducted to evaluate gel performance. Results showed that during water injection, the water residual resistance factor ( Frrw ) decreases with increasing flow rates, mainly due to gel shear thinning behaviour and reduced residual gas saturation. Higher polymer concentrations in the gel enhance water permeability reduction. In contrast, un

ABSTRACTObjective: The objective of this study is to develop a controlled release matrix tablet of candesartan cilexetil to reduce the frequency of administration, enhance bioavailability and improve patient compliance; a once daily sustained release formulation of candesartan cilexetil is desirable. Methods: The prepared tablets from F1 to F24 were evaluated with different evaluation parameters like weight variation, drug content, friability, hardness, thickness and swelling ability. In vitro release for all formulas were studied depends on the type and amount of each polymer, i.e. (16 mg,32 mg and 48 mg) respectively beside to the combination effect of polymers on the release of the drug from the tablet. Results: In vitro release show

Study the effect by CO2 laser on some optical properties of (Cd) thin film doping by Ni
...Show More Authors

In this research study the effect of irradiation by (CW) CO2 laser on some optical properties of (Cds) doping by Ni thin films of (1)µm thickness has been prepared by heat evaporation method. (X-Ray) diffraction technique showed the prepared films before and after irradiation are ploy crystalline hexagonal structure, optical properties were include recording of absorbance spectra for prepared films in the range of (400-1000) nm wave lengths, the absorption coefficient and the energy gap were calculated before and after irradiation, finally the irradiation affected (CdS) thin films by changing its color from the Transparent yellow to dark rough yellow and decrease the value absorption coefficient also increase the value of energy gap.

Comparative Study between the Behavior of the Concrete Thrust Block and the Restraint Joint in a Water Distribution System; Review
...Show More Authors

Thrust blocks and restraint joints are the two most popular methods of counteracting the thrust force that generated at pipe fittings (bends, Tee, wye, reducers, dead ends, etc…). Both systems perform the same function, which is to prevent the joints from separating from the pipes. The aim of the study is to review previous studies and scientific theories related to the study and design of thrust blocks and restraint joints to study the behavior of both systems under thrust force and to study the factors and variables that affect the behavior of these systems. The behavior of both systems must be studied because they cannot be abandoned, as each system has conditions whose use is more feasible, scientific, and economic

The Characters of the Form in the Vernacular Architecture A comparative study of the form's characters of facades of individual houses and commercial buildings in the City of Baghdad after 2003–Zayoona district as a case study
...Show More Authors

The characters of facades' form of the Iraqi building after 2003 have been changed, it has been described by many names. The problem of the research is that what are the features of the characters of the form in the façades of the buildings in Baghdad city after 2003? Are the façade of the individual houses or the commercial buildings is the heaviest in the visual weight? The research aims to answer those questions by choosing the vernacular architecture as a measurement tool. It is the informal image of the architecture, which is built by people informally and spontaneously, without official control and legislation to be organized. This is smellier to what has happened in Baghdad, after 2003 according to previous study submitted
