The research work represent a fast and simple method for the determination of methionine using chemiluminescence for the methionine-sodium hydroxide-luminol for the generation of a chemiluminesecent derivative of luminal. A Monte Carlo simulation has been used to design program which simulate gamma rays backscattering system. Gamma ray backscattering is very important to get useful information about shielding, absorption and counting problems. Simulation was done of a 661.6 KeV from a collimated point source of 137Cs. When increasing the scattering angle of photon which emerging from Iron target , as the incident gamma beam angles of 15°, 45° and 75°, the results showed that the single scattering count decreases. The present work describes the development of code for trim and longitudinal stability analysis of a helicopter in forward flight. In general, particular use of these codes can be made for parametric investigation of the effects of the external and internal systems integrated to UH-60 helicopters. A forward flight longitudinal dynamic stability code is also developed in the work to solve the longitudinal part of the whole coupled matrix of equations of motion of a helicopter in forward flight. The coupling is eliminated by linearization. The trim analysis results are used as inputs to the dynamic stability code. The forward flight stability code is applied to UH-60 helicopter.

  The chalcones 1( a,b) were prepared by the reaction of  2- acetyl benzofuran with two aromatic aldehydes in the presence of alkaline media. These chalcones are used as starting material to obtain the  desired heterocyclic: pyrazolin, isoxazoline, pyrimidinthion, pyrimidinone, cyclohexanone and indazole derivatives. The structure of newly synthesized heterocyclic compounds were established on the basis of  their melting points, elemental analysis(C.H.N), FTIR and 1HMNR (for some of them) spectral data . The synthesized compounds have been screened for their antibacterial activities, they exhibited good antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli (G-) and Staphylococus aureus (G+) .
