A Comparative Study for Estimate Fractional Parameter of ARFIMA Model

Long memory analysis is one of the most active areas in econometrics and time series where various methods have been introduced to identify and estimate the long memory parameter in partially integrated time series. One of the most common models used to represent time series that have a long memory is the ARFIMA (Auto Regressive Fractional Integration Moving Average Model) which diffs are a fractional number called the fractional parameter. To analyze and determine the ARFIMA model, the fractal parameter must be estimated. There are many methods for fractional parameter estimation. In this research, the estimation methods were divided into indirect methods, where the Hurst parameter is estimated first, and then the fractional integration parameter is estimated from it by a relation between them. As for direct methods, the fractional integration parameter is estimated directly without relying on Hurst's parameter, and most of them are semi parametric methods. In this paper, some of the most common direct methods were used to estimate the fraction modulus namely (Geweke-Porter-Hudak, Smoothed Geweke-Porter-Hudak, Local Whittle, Wavelet and weighted wavelet), using simulation method with different value of (d) and different size of time series. The comparison between the methods was done using the mean squared error (MSE). It turns out that the best methods to estimate the fractional parameter is (Local Whittle).

The ARFIMA model was generated by a function programmed by the MATLAB statistical program

Fuzzy logic in the estimate of reliability function for k - components systems

Abstract:

One of the important things provided by fuzzy model is to identify the membership functions. In the fuzzy reliability applications with failure functions of the kind who cares that deals with positive variables .There are many types of membership functions studied by many researchers, including triangular membership function, trapezoidal membership function and bell-shaped membership function. In I research we used beta function. Based on this paper study classical method to obtain estimation fuzzy reliability function for both series and parallel systems.

The legal system of mandatory mediation as a mean of setting disputes Comparative analytical study

The mediation system is based on settling the dispute amicably through the intervention of a third party by bringing views closer away from the judiciary, which is an amicable way to settle disputes, which disputants resort to voluntarily, but some Western legislation has begun to impose resorting to mediation to settle disputes compulsorily, to take advantage of its advantages, get rid of the disadvantages of resorting to the judiciary in some disputes, and relieve pressure on the courts.

Substitution as a consequence of liability arising from breach of the promise of preference: A comparative study

The judicial transformation led by the French Court of Cassation about the consequence of liability arising from breach of the promise of preference led to the adoption of a new principle، whereby the beneficiary of the promise of preference would substitute with the third party in the concluded contract in violation of his right in preference. This shift، in turn، has been reflected on the legislative situation in France، where the French legislator adopted this principle in the New Contract Law of 2016.

Estimate Raw Water Salinity for the Tigris River for a Long Time Using a Mathematical Model
Abstract<p>The measurement data of the raw water quality of Tigris River were statistically analyzed to measure the salinity value in relation to the selected raw water quality parameters. The analyzed data were collected from five water treatment plants (WTPs) assembled alongside of the Tigris River in Baghdad: Al-Karkh, Al-Karama, Al-Qadisiya, Al-Dora, and Al-Wihda for the period from 2015 to 2021. The selected parameters are total dissolved solid (TDS), electrical conductivity (EC), pH and temperature. The main objective of this research is to predicate a mathematical model using SPSS software to calculate the value of salinity along the river, in addition, the effect of electrical conductivi</p> ... Use aggregate slide estimate additive splines estimation for the diagnosis of non-linear composite model self-regression with practical application

Nonlinear time series analysis is one of the most complex problems ; especially the nonlinear autoregressive with exogenous variable (NARX) .Then ; the problem of model identification and the correct orders determination considered the most important problem in the analysis of time series . In this paper , we proposed splines  estimation method for model identification , then we used three criterions for the correct orders determination. Where ; proposed method used to estimate the additive splines for model identification , And the rank determination depends on the additive property  to avoid the problem of curse dimensionally . The proposed method is one of the nonparametric methods , and the simulation results give a

The child right of body protection in the international law A comparative study in Islamic shree

The children are suffering from many kinds of tragedy acts such as killing and torture which arise from civil wars never be seen along the human history since decades.

We still see millions of children suffering specially in the Arab world, Iraq, Syria, Libya, and Yemen. This study deals with kinds of protections which comes by international treaties and practiced by international organizations which helps in the protection through the military conflicts, and we compare this right in the Islamic shree, and how the states are comply with this right and how can they protect the children practically.

At last we reach the conclusion and finally the recommendations.

COMPARATIVE STUDY FOR EDGE DETECTION OF NOISY IMAGE USING SOBEL AND LAPLACE OPERATORS

Many approaches of different complexity already exist to edge detection in
color images. Nevertheless, the question remains of how different are the results
when employing computational costly techniques instead of simple ones. This
paper presents a comparative study on two approaches to color edge detection to
reduce noise in image. The approaches are based on the Sobel operator and the
Laplace operator. Furthermore, an efficient algorithm for implementing the two
operators is presented. The operators have been applied to real images. The results
are presented in this paper. It is shown that the quality of the results increases by
using second derivative operator (Laplace operator). And noise reduced in a good

Legal regulation of the central bank of Iraq: comparative study

The emergence of the central bank was a commercial bank the advantage of the government as if it belonged to him or the privilege of issuing banknotes. There is no comprehensive definition contrary to the concept of the central bank although everyone agrees that the central bank stands at the head of the banking system in the state and takes charge of banking and credit policy in the country.

The central bank is a governmental institution that dominates the monetary and banking system of the state it is responsible for issuing cash and acting as the financial agent of the government in addition to credit central in order to support the economic growth and monetary stability of the country and the central role of the central bank

Personal tax exemptions "a comparative study with some Arab and European system legislations

This research aims primarily to highlight personal tax exemptions A comparative study with some Arab and European regulations. And by conducting both theoretical comparative analyses. Most important findings of the study is the need to grant personal and family exemptions that differ according to the civil status of the taxpayer (single or married). In other words, the exemption increases as the number of family members depend on its social sense. Also taking into account some incomes that require a certain effort and looking at the tax rates, it is unreasonable for wages to be subject to the same rates applied to commercial profits.
