Fourteen isolates were collected from a previous study and all were assigned to be Streptomyces genus, according to physiological and biochemical tests, however all the isolates varied morphologically and exhibited different antimicrobial activity.  All 14 isolates were confirmed Streptomyces by  16S rRNA PCR amplification. Six isolates with high antimicrobial activities were ascertained   Streptomyces spp. by sequencing and phylogenetic analysis. Background: The liver is one of the most common organs
injured after blunt abdominal trauma. The control of severe
hemorrhage remains a problem.
Methods: One-hundred thirty-eight patients diagnosed as
liver injury between 09/2003 and 08/2006 had been evaluated
prospectively in Al- Kindy Teaching Hospital.
A distinction was made between hemodynamically stable and
unstable patients. Different modalities of surgical procedures

Adsorption experiments were carried out using two different low-cost sorbent materials, date seeds and olive seeds. These sorbents used as a single phase (not as mixture) to remove cadmium ions from simulated wastewater by adsorption process. The equilibrium time was found at 2 hr.
