Baalbek ( Heliopolis- the City of the Sun), one of the most important  historical cities in Lebanon, has known as  multiple civilizations in successive historical periods, which have left many archaeological evidences, the most    important  ones  are the castle and the roman temples.

 The Islamic architectural and artistic heritage in Baalbek   was consisted from different types of buildings: religious, civil, military and social in addition to many archaeological arts that were mastered by the Muslims.

Present study was conducted to evaluate the different levels of energy to protein ratios (EPR) using food waste and black soldier fly larvae meal (FWBSFL) on growth performance and nutrient digestibility of broilers. A total of 160 one-day old broiler chicks were divided randomly to four groups and each group had 8 replicates with 5 chicks per replicate. The control diet was formulated using conventional feed ingredients with EPR of 154 for the starter period and 167 for the finisher period. G. tuberculosa is a newly recorded species from the Caryophyllaceae family for Iraqi flora, collected from the Arbil district from May to August. Morphological descriptions with macro and micro features illustrated with plates and dimensions, the species is related to G. pallida and distinguished from calyx properties, especially the presence of large prominent druses crystals.
