This study was done to compare among 120 new and used cosmetic brands to determine the heavy metals concentrations (Cadmium, Chromium) in (face foundation, powder and blushers). Sixty new cosmetic products were bought from local markets in Baghdad city (twenty different brands foe each cosmetic products), while sixty used cosmetic products were collected from Iraqi women and they had been stored for a long time.    This study describes the determination of some phenols in four different zones of Tigris river in Iraq including, AL-Krieat, AL-Kadhimiya, AL-Jadiriyah, and AL-Adhamiyah. The  phenolic compounds analyzed were (2,3-dimethylphenol, 4-chlorophenol, 3-nitrophenol and 2,4-dinitrophenol) using reverse phase high performance liquid chromatography (RPHPLC) with a UV detector on ODS-C18 column(150×4.6 mm I.D) and a mobile phase consisted of methanol-water(30:70)%(v/v) at pH 5.0, and a column temperature at 30C° with 20 µL injection.      A geological model is a spatial representation of the distribution of sediments and rocks in the subsurface. Where this study on Halfaya oil field; it is located in Missan governorate, 35 km southeast of the city of Amara. It is one of the main  fields in Iraq because it is production high oil. This model contains the structure, and petrophysical properties (porosity,  water saturation) in three directions. To build 3D geological models of petroleum reservoirs. Abstract:  Two different shapes of offset optical fiber was studied based on coreless fiber for refractive index (RI)/concentration (con.) measurement, and compare them. These shapes are U and S-shapes, both shapes structures were formed by one segment of coreless fiber (CF) was joined between two single mode (SMF) lead in /lead out with the same displacement (12.268µm) at both sides, the results shows the high sensitive was achieved in a novel S-shape equal 98.768nm/RIU, to our knowledge, no one has ever mentioned or experienced it, it’s the best shape rather than the U-shape which equal 85.628nm/RIU.
