Microalgae have been increasingly used for wastewater treatment due to their capacity to assimilate nutrients. Samples of wastewater were taken from the Erbil wastewater channel near Dhahibha village in northern Iraq. The microalga Coelastrella sp. was used in three doses (0.2, 1, and 2g. l^-1) in this experiment for 21 days, samples were periodically (every 3 days) analyzed for physicochemical parameters such as pH, EC, Phosphate, Nitrate, and BOD₅, in addition to, Chlorophyll a concentration. In this article we propose a general Bayesian estimation framework for the Birnbaum-Saunders Quantile Regression (BSQ) model which is used to analyze asymmetric and heterogeneous economic data. In this work, the novel aspect is the joint incorporation of several existing surrogate structures (with different degrees of approximation) and decision-theoretic loss functions (with direct impact on estimation performance trade-offs) under a common BSQ framework conducive to systematic testing of their effect on quantile estimation performance. The study was conducted to estimate the economic losses caused by insect mole cricket Gryllotalpa gryllotalpa on some agricultural crops and Potato tubers in collage of Agriculture- Abu Ghraib season 2012-2013. Study showed Mole cricket caused percentage of infestation in spring potato tubers variety Luciana reached to 11.61% and the percentage of loss in weight of tubers reached 18.88%.
