The variation in wing morphological features was investigated using geometric morphometric technique of the Sand Fly from two Iraqi provinces Babylon and Diyala . We distributed eleven landmarks on the wings of Sand Fly species. By using the centroid size and shape together, all species were clearly distinguished.  It is clear from these results that the wing analysis is an essential method for future geometric morphometry studies to distinguish the species of Sand Flies in Iraq.

The aim of this research is to estimate the parameters of the linear regression model with errors following ARFIMA model by using wavelet method depending on maximum likelihood and approaching general least square as well as ordinary least square. We use the estimators in practical application on real data, which were the monthly data of Inflation and Dollar exchange rate obtained from the (CSO) Central Statistical organization for the period from 1/2005 to 12/2015. The results proved that (WML) was the most reliable and efficient from the other estimators, also the results provide that the changing of fractional difference parameter (d) doesn’t effect on the results.

Georeferencing process is one of the most important prerequisites for various geomatics applications; for example, photogrammetry, laser scan analysis, remotely sensing, spatial and descriptive data collection, and others. Georeferencing mostly involves the transformation of coordinates obtained from images that are inhomogeneous due to accuracy differences. The georeferencing depends on image resolution and accuracy level of measurements of reference points ground coordinates.  Accordingly, this study discusses the subject of coordinate’s transformation from the image to the global coordinates system (WGS84) to find a suitable method that provides more accurate results.
