The exchange rate is the backbone of any economy in the world, whether developed or developing, where most countries adopted many policies, in order to ensure the stability of the exchange rate of the currency, because of its importance as a link between the local economy and the others ,And it contribute in the achievement of internal and external balance and despite the many different factors that affect it, but there is wide consensus on the effectiveness of the role of spending and the currency window in the exchange rate of the Iraqi dinar, especially in the Iraqi economy, effectiveness As the increase in government spending lead to an increase in the supply of money and increase domestic demand and high prices and therefore high inflation, which negatively affects the exchange rate of the Iraqi dinar, so the central bank intervenes through the window of currency in order to stabilize the exchange rate of local currency, Analysis of the relationship between expenditure and the currency window in the Iraqi economy for the period (004-2016) In order to establish the road map, the researcher tried to clarify the relationship mentioned above, The final result is that government spending negatively affects the value of the Iraqi dinar as a result of increased money supply and increased inflation caused by increased public spending. Therefore, the central bank intervenes through the currency window to sterilize the money supply by absorbing surplus cash flow (Iraqi dinar) During the pumping of more foreign currency and thus maintain the value of the Iraqi dinar exchange rate of the local currency, which has greatly affected the decline in inflation.
Objective: To compare two positioning approaches in the surgical treatment of unstable intertrochanteric femoral fractures fixed by proximal femoral nailing, the supine versus lateral decubitus position Methodology: This randomized prospective comparative study on 26 patients with unstable intertrochanteric fractures was carried out from January 2020 and June 2022. We randomly divided patients into two groups: group A (13 patients) were operated using the traction table in the supine position for implant insertion, and group B (13 patients) were operated using the lateral decubitus position. We compared both groups regarding the setup time, operative time, tip-to-apex distance, collodiaphyseal angle, time for fluoroscopic time expo

Objective : This study was conducted at Al-Kadhimiya Teaching Hospital to assess the prevalence of left atrial chamber thrombi in patients with chronic non-rheumatic atrial fibrillation using transoesophageal echocardiography and its clinical significance as well as to verify the superiority of transoesophageal over transthoracic echocardiography in the detection of these abnormalities. Material and Methods: Metal and ceramic brackets were bonded to 240 extracted human premolars using two enamel conditioning protocols: conventional 37% phosphoric acid (PA) gel (control), and an acidic calcium-phosphate (CaP) paste. The CaP paste was prepared from β-tricalcium phosphate and monocalcium phosphate monohydrate powders mixed with 37% phosphoric acid solution, and the resulting phase was confirmed using FTIR. The bonded premolars were exp

Pityriasis versicolor is the prototypical skin disease etiologically connected to Malassezia species. Malassezia furfur is the primary causative agent of pityriasis versicolor which causes either hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation of the skin.
Objective: To identify of Malassezia furfur associated with pityriasis versicolor patients and healthy control by using molecular detection methods.
Material and Methods: Sixty patients suffering from pityriasis versicolor disease who attended Medical Imammaine Kadhmain City from beginning of 1st Dece
Background: Metabolic syndrome is a complex series of metabolic defects, characterized by high levels of serum glucose, hypertension, abdominal obesity, and dyslipidemia. The high mobility group AT-hook1, an architectural transcript factor, affects the homeostasis of glucose. No previous studies have been performed to examine whether HMGA1 can be secreted into the extracellular milieu.
Objectives: this case-control study aimed to examine whether HMGA1 secretes into the extracellular milieu and compares its serum level in two groups of metabolic syndrome (with and without diabetes) and a control group composed of apparently healthy individuals of Iraqi population with different nationalities.

Biomarkers of tissue damage as results of occupational physical demands could be used for detection of work related musculoskeletal disorders. Aim: The aim of this study was to assess work- related musculoskeletal disorders, physical work load index, selected salivary biomarkers (Creatine kinase and C - reactive protein) and to find the relation among them. Subjects and Methods: Study participants are consisted of 112 dentists. They were selected from college of dentistry /Baghdad University, health care center in Bagdad city. They were of both gender and aged between 40-45 yea

This study was achieved to evaluate the prevalence and distribution of tooth wear among institutionalized residents in Baghdad city\ Iraq. Subjects and Methods: This survey was accomplished on four private and one governmental institution in Baghdad city. One-hundred twenty three (61 males, 62 females) aged 50-89 years were participated in this study. The diagnosis and recording of tooth wear were according to criteria of Smith and Knight. Results: The prevalence of tooth wear was 100% with a mean
