         In this study, a bioadhesive dosage form of eoconazole nitrate for vaginal delivery was designed using a combination of bioadhesive polymers: Carbopol 941 p and sodium carboxymethylcellulose or methylcellulose in different ratios. The bioadhesive strength was evaluated by measuring the force required to detach the tablet from sheep vaginal mucosal membrane. It was found that the bioadhesive force was directly proportional to Carbopol 941 p content in the different formulae. The monogenean Gyrodactylus taimeni Ergens, 1971 was recorded in this study for the first time in Iraq from gills of the common carp Cyprinus carpio Linnaeus, 1758. The description and measurements of this parasite as well as illustration were given. In addition, a list of species of Gyrodactylus so far recorded from C. carpio in Iraq is also included together with a list of all other hosts recorded for each gyrodactylid species.

Three formations to be studied along Surdash, Qallat, Khalakan, Hezob, Sektan, Degala
and Shaqlawa areas in the Sulaimaniya and Erbil governorates, NE Iraq. These are: Dokan,
Gulneri and Kometan formations. The paleoecology and depositional environment of these
formations are determined by studying the ecology of the planktonic and benthic
foraminifera.
The depositional environment of are ranged from the continental shelf to the abyssal,
and the paleotemperature, salinity and paleoclimate were discriminated in each section
along the study area.
