The use of remote sensing technologies was gained more attention due to an increasing need to collect data for the environmental changes. Satellite image classification is a relatively recent type of remote sensing uses satellite imagery to indicate many key environment characteristics. This study aims at classifying and extracting vacant lands from high resolution satellite images of Baghdad city by supervised Classification tool in ENVI 5.3 program. The classification accuracy was 15%, which can be regarded as fairly acceptable given the difficulty of differentiating vacant land surfaces from other surfaces such as roof tops of buildings.

This work presents a design for a pressure swing adsorption process (PSA) to separate oxygen from air with approximately 95% purity, suitable for different numbers of columns and arrangements. The product refill PSA process was found to perform 33% better (weight of zeolite required or productivity) than the pressure equalization process. The design is based on the adsorption equilibrium of a binary mixture of O₂ and N₂ for two of the most commonly used adsorbents, 5A & 13X, and extension from a single column approach. The researcher attempts to examine Barman model in acquiring the historical concepts among fourth-grade students at literary classrooms. To this end, the researcher held the null hypothesis, there is no significant difference between the experimental groups who was taught based on Barman model and the control group that taught based on the traditional method in acquiring the historical concepts on the post-test. Therefore, the usage of geospatial data suffers from various problems such as data authentication, ownership proffering, and illegal copying ,etc. These problems can represent the big challenge to future uses of the geospatial data. This paper introduces a new watermarking scheme to ensure the copyright protection of the digital vector map. The main idea of proposed scheme is based on transforming  the digital map to frequently domain using the Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) in order to determine suitable areas to insert the watermark data.
