Iron deficiency is considered as a common problem facing the general world population. In the current research, experiments were conducted to evaluate the effects of aqueous extracts of Acacia senegal (Gum Arabic, GA), Spinacia oleracea (spinach), Zea mays (corn), and Capsicum annuum (red chili pepper) on iron and ferritin levels in rats. Vitamin C and fructose levels were first estimated in these plants by using High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). This paper concerns the peristaltic flow of a Williamson fluid with variable viscosity model through porous medium under combined effects of MHD and wall properties. The assumptions of Reynolds number and long wavelength is investigated. The flow is investigated in a wave frame of reference moving with velocity of the wave. The perturbation series in terms of the Weissenberg number (We <1) was used to obtain explicit forms for velocity field and stream function. The effects of thermal conductivity, Grashof number, Darcy number, magnet, rigidity, stiffness of the wall and viscous damping force parameters on velocity and stream function have been studied.

     An experimental investigation of the variation of argon discharge current with a glow and afterglow time intervals of a square discharge voltage was carried out at low pressure (6-11 mbar). The discharge was created between two circular metal electrodes of diameter (7.5 cm), separated horizontally by a distance (10 cm) at the two ends of a Pyrex cylindrical tube. A composite of two Gaussian functions has been suggested to fit and explain the variation graphs clearly. It is shown that the necessary times of glow and afterglow needed to attain a maximum discharge current are (70 us) and (60 us), respectively.
