Background: The morbidity and mortality of congenital diaphragmatic hernia is related to the severity of lung hypoplasia ,pulmonary hypertension and associated anomalies.
Patients and methods: fifty nine consecutive patients with surgically proved diaphragmatic hernia (excluding hiatal hernia) were included in this prospective study. All patients were seen at Al- Kadhymia hospital for children and Al-Mustansyria hospital, in the period from January 2003 to December 2009.Plain chest x-ray was done for all the patients understudy, but barium study was arranged for only nine patients.

Background: Cervical spondylosis is a degenerative disease of the cervical spine and can occur at any age but mostly after 5th decade.

Objectives:  is to focus a light on the clinical features, radiological findings and the result of the surgical treatment with comparison to the global results in the same field.

Patients and method: This is a prospective study of 50 patients with cervical spondylosis managed with surgery at surgical specialty hospital in the medical city, Baghdad, from the period from Jun. 2011 till Jan. 2012. Hedging is a linguistic phenomenon used to convey interpersonal messages in spoken interaction. It is a communicative strategy which enables speakers to soften the force of utterances or moderate the assertive force of  utterances. It is resulted from different features such as uncertainty, doubt, tentativeness, ambiguity, neutrality, mitigation, and subjectivity. Hedging is used widely in  TV debates to make utterances more acceptable to the interlocutors. Hedges are expressions used to communicate the speaker's  weak commitment to information conveyed. The utterances in debates are often hedged because in an unhedged form  might sound threatening to the addressees, and, therefore, be likely to be rejected.

 In this work a Nd:YVO4 thin disc laser setup is designed and fabricated. The disk laser system
is designed to be compact. The laser crystal was pumped by a 808 nm diode laser. The effect of input
current and pulse frequency on the output energy at pulse operation mode, and the effect of the input
current on the output power at CW mode operation are tested. At the pulsed mode, the output energy
increased linearly with the input current and decreased with pulse frequency. The threshold current
increased with increasing pulse frequency increasing. The maximum output energy from the thin disc

Let T be a submodule of M. Let K  H  M, K  is called  ET-Coessential of H in M (K⊆_ET.ce H), if     . A submodule H is called ET- coclosed in M of H has no proper coessential submodule in M, we denote by  (K⊆_ET.cc H) , that is, K⊆_ET.ce H implies that   K = H.
