The purpose of this study is to identify the extent of the EFL teachers’ implementationoftotal quality management (TQM)principles through teaching English as a foreign language in Iraqi secondary schools.A total of 180 EFL teachers fromsecondary schools in Baghdad during the academic year 2010/ 2011 participated in the study. Data was collected using a scale to identify the extent of implementation of total quality management principles by 140 EFL teachers in their classroom. To support the data collected from the scale,40 teachers were observed by EFL educational supervisors during their lessons. The collected data was analyzed using frequency, means and standard deviation to identify the extent of implementation of (TQM) principles.

This Study was conducted to investigate vaginitis in women who live in Baghdad City. Results Revealed that Candida spp. were the causal agent of 38.5% of symptomatic cases the yeasts Candidaalbicans, C.glabrata, C.tropicalis, C.parapsilosis and C.krusei were isolated with the percentage of 38.1, 9.1, 3.9, 2.6, 1.3 respectively also there were 18% of women in control group carrying Candida spp. The direct smear method were not efficient because the percentage of infection was 17.5% comparing with the culture method the sensitivity of direct smear method was 45.5% The percentage of WBC to Epithelial cells was less than one in 76.6% of women.

The present study conducted to study epipelic algae in the Tigris River within Baghdad city for one year from September 2011 to August 2012 due to the importance role of benthic algae in lotic ecosystems. Five sites have been chosen along the river. A total of 154 species of epipelic algae was recorded belongs to 45 genera, where Bacillariophyceae (Diatoms) was the dominant groups followed by Cyanophyceae and Chlorophyceae. The numbers of common types in three sites were 47 species. Bacillariophyceae accounted 88.31% of the total number of epipelic algae, followed by Cyanophyceae 7.14 % and Chlorophyceae 4.55%. This research revolves around the study of sports press coverage to the third African Youth Games that took place in Algeria from 19 to 28 July 2018. The games featured approximately 3000 athletes from 54 countries who competed in 27 sports. Five sports were qualified for the Youth Olympic Games in Argentina. The aim of this study was to analyze the content of the Algerian newspaper Ennahar El-Djadid by focusing on the discussions of various sports activities during the event. Thus, the descriptive approach and content analysis method were adopted for this research. They were used to highlight the newspaper's interest in this sports phenomenon.
