Total Quality Management and Its Role in the Development of Financial Performance "Reality and Obstacles" (Case Study on Diyala State Company)

           This research aims to identify and measure the role of TQM in the process of developing  the financial  performance of  Diyala State Company and show the reality and obstacles, after applying the company's management to the requirements of ISO 9001: 2008 and compare it with its performance before applying this standard, The researcher measured the financial performance by conducting financial analysis of the financial statements and conducting a number of interviews at the company's headquarters, Diyala State Company (one of the Iraqi Ministry of Industry and Minerals formations) was selected as a research community as it was in the process of rehabilitating and modernizing its production lines and It obtained the ISO International Certificate in mid-May 2015, The results of this research showed that there are different roles on the indicators of their financial performance as a result of the application of the quality standard. Some of them improved compared to the pre-application level, while some of them declined to witness a significant decline. The company suffers a number of obstacles that negatively effect on its financial performance, The most important recommendation for this research is  overcoming on all obstacles and challenges that have hindered the process of applying quality in order to improve the financial performance of the company by taking advantage of the aspects that the application of the quality standard have a positive role it and work on its development and process the negative ones.

Effect of Different Conditions on Viability and Antagonistic Activity of Saccharomyces boulardii on Enteric Pathogenic Bacteria

In this part of programme , different bacterial isolates mainly Salmonella spp, Shigella spp and Escherichia coli were used for antagonism with Saccharomyces boulardii under different conditions . S.boulardii was grown under aerobic conditions and antagonized with young overnight nutrient broth cultures of test bacterial isolates and other kept in refrigerator for a week after full growth . Effect of Gamma Radiation and Borax on Mechanical Properties of Polyvinyl Alcohol and Chitosan Blend Film

The creation and characterisation of biodegradable blend films based on chitosan and polyvinyl alcohol for application in a range of packaging is described. The compatibility between the chitosan and PVA polymers was good. Composite films had a compact and homogeneous structure, according to the morphology analysis. The mechanical test result of PVA/CH at concentrations 5% showed, that The higher values of TS recorded in sample (p1, with 40 MPa) while the lower values appeared in sample (p9, with 22.09 MPa), the TS decreased gradually as the amount of PVA increased in blend film. Structural Analysis of Chemical and Green Synthesis of CuO Nanoparticles and their Effect on Biofilm Formation

Copper oxide nanoparticles (CuO NPs) were synthesized by two methods. The first was chemical method by using copper nitrate Cu (NO3)2 and NaOH, while the second was green method by using Eucalyptus camaldulensis leaves extract and Cu (NO3)2. These methods easily give a large scale production of CuO nanoparticles. X-ray diffraction pattern (XRD) reveals single phase monoclinic structure. The average crystalline size of CuO NPs was measured and used by Scherrer equation which found 44.06nm from chemical method, while the average crystalline size was found from green method was 27.2nm. The morphology analysis using atomic force microscopy showed that the grain size for CuO NPs was synthesized by chemical and green methods were 77.70 and 89.24
